Summary: Here is the post describing the event!

At the door there stands a droid; he's wearing a very snazzy tux, and collecting the invitations. If you don't have an invitation, don't worry!

Just get the hell in that room. Thank you.

The ballroom is enormous, more than enough to accommodate you and your fellow captives. The lighting is overall somewhat dim to set the atmosphere; there are tables bunched together at one end of the room, and a rather large dance floor at the other (complete with lights, strobe and spotlight, and a DJ-droid in a sequined suit and sporting a hangman's noose around his neck). To the side, lengthy tables loaded with all sorts of partyriffic snacks and drinks. And of course, droids milling about in the same sharp suits the one at the door was clad in, all with little spooky variations to add festivity -an arrow through the head, Frankenstein bolts through the neck, vampire fangs, etc- as they seem to be setting chairs, cleaning up used plates and cups, and generally stopping anyone from sneaking out the windows or doors.

It can be noted, however, that the droids are terribly outnumbered.

You can join in the festivities; take a seat and wait for a friend or a date, have a snack or try to escape. Just make sure to make the night memorable.

Because there is something lurking outside...and if you leave to investigate, you might not come back.

"That's too bad..." She frowns a little at that, despite herself. Xaldin would probably be a good date. Also I am totally inspired in ym replies. But oh well.

Oh please. I just like typing, bro. That frown caught his attention, though.

"Something the matter?"

"Well, you could use an interesting date!" Smile, all encouraging like and all that stuff.

A headtilt. Well, "Are you offering, Charlotte?" he asked. Offering to find another person to become said date, or her? One or the other, she has the answer.

Well... No, she's not sure. But she smiles there and bounces on the balls of her feet before-

"I could try!"

How does she not get hurt on those heels with that chest -- a slight chuckle, Xaldin nods.

"Then try," said Xaldin, "Infact, I encourage it." because he's wondering what she'll do next.

Mad skills. It's canon, even. This is a good time. Anyway, she looks around... looks around...

"Well..."

And now tugging on his sleeve to bring him closer to the center!

Right, he's following, he's following, making sure not to step on the large dress she wore.

Did she want a dance? There's the proper music, after all.

Well... she does, kinda. But she also needs to find a new partner for him. So now observing them carefully. The room, that is.

Yes, yes. Pick either the most mysterious, the most intriguing, perhaps the loudest or the quietest. You decide, princess.

"A pseudo-matchmaker," he commented to himself.

She totally didn't hear that. Or if she did, she ignored it. Either way, after a while she decides to go about this the fair way! ...Namely, she closes her eyes, covers her eyes, and then... spins around in a circle with her finger pointed outwards.

Now, who is the unlucky person that caught Charlotte's eye? Xaldin raised a brow.

"Really now?" he asked.

And then with her spinning complete, the finger is pointing...!

It's pointing at her own shoe, so she smiles back up at him, after getting up from the slump she had at the end.

And when the finger pointed at her, he couldn't help but be amused -- as much as he actually could, anyway. The outfits were such a terrible choice.

"Are you sure you won't mind me sweeping off your feet for now?" asked Xaldin.

"Well, it seems like our outfits match in a way..." Did she know the story? Did she see the movie? Both of those are debatable, but she does smile up at him all the same. She wouldn't want to make him feel awkward with some girl he didn't know.

If she only knew he can't feel awkwardness (the closest was -- for only a few seconds -- after Belle elbowed him in the gut). Although, the action was quite thoughtful of her. no? He nodded once.

If she only knew why, exactly, the outfits matched. Although, he had to ask --

"Do they, really?"

"It seems like they do!" She smiles there and then, well, hand offering. Your lead again, giant man.

"They do have a sort of golden aura, don't they?"

Very well then. Xaldin takes her hand, gets in position with the other -- and now they dance. Birds eye view camera is a go--!?

This will be an excellent dance now that they have real music!

Real music by real instruments, but no talking furniture. III doesn't mind the lack of that!

Besides. The teacup was annoying.

Of course it was, Xaldin. Of course it was.

As for her, she's cool with this because it's fun.

With that really swishy dress, who wouldn't? Especially since it's princess material and a princess is in it and all --
