Who: Everyone!
What: A dance. :|
When: October 31st-November 1st
Where: The hotel ballroom in LucetiLand.
Summary: Here is the post describing the event!
Rating: Uhhh anywhere from G-R.

At the door there stands a droid; he's wearing a very snazzy tux, and collecting the invitations. If you don't have an invitation, don't worry!

Just get the hell in that room. Thank you.

The ballroom is enormous, more than enough to accommodate you and your fellow captives. The lighting is overall somewhat dim to set the atmosphere; there are tables bunched together at one end of the room, and a rather large dance floor at the other (complete with lights, strobe and spotlight, and a DJ-droid in a sequined suit and sporting a hangman's noose around his neck). To the side, lengthy tables loaded with all sorts of partyriffic snacks and drinks. And of course, droids milling about in the same sharp suits the one at the door was clad in, all with little spooky variations to add festivity -an arrow through the head, Frankenstein bolts through the neck, vampire fangs, etc- as they seem to be setting chairs, cleaning up used plates and cups, and generally stopping anyone from sneaking out the windows or doors.

It can be noted, however, that the droids are terribly outnumbered.

You can join in the festivities; take a seat and wait for a friend or a date, have a snack or try to escape. Just make sure to make the night memorable.

Because there is something lurking outside...and if you leave to investigate, you might not come back.

A shrug. "Starfleet expects you to keep the peace. But, when a Romulan ship is blowing up innocent people? Sometimes you have to take drastic measures. Politics be damned."

He certainly knew that once he left this place, he'd be doing what needed to be done. Not what the book said to do.

"Drastic measures, hmm?" Buffy nodded, edging on solemn. "Yeah, I can get behind that. Don't really know about the whole politics thing--my work never really got political." She tapped a fingertip against her chin. "Except, of course, that one time when I had to blow up the mayor. He was a giant snake-demon at the time, though."

"You blew up a mayor?" Kirk's eyebrows went up. "See, all I did was blow up a future angry Romulan. I think you have me beat."

"I dunno, yours was from the future. That's a pretty big deal. Mine was just evil. And had a thing about germs." So shrugged the Slayer, realizing internally that their experiences--while superficially very different--continued to have a deeper similarity.

"Plus--" she continued, her epiphany bringing a smirk along. "You did it all in space. Major points for that."
