Who: Haku and open to anyone.
What: Bonding with the weather.
When: The morning of the 12th.
Where: Near the river.
Summary: A certain river spirit heard that it was raining, and so went outside to soak it in.
Rating: G for now. Depending on who tags in, the rating might go up. (If 3rd person/narrative isn't your thing, brackets and the like are fine with me! \o/)

Haku skimmed over the pages of the journal, noting the many entries acknowledging the presence of the rain. Some were pleasant, some were not, suggesting that not everyone was fond of the rain.

But as a former river spirit, Haku was fond of everything having to do with water, and so he tucked the journal away where it would stay dry, and ventured out from the forest to the banks of the river.

When he found a location that was quiet enough for his liking, he sat down on the ground, tucking his legs beneath him. The rain continued falling as he sat there, and after awhile, he simply closed his eyes, focusing on the sounds the drops made and the feelings it left on his skin.

Takato takes the hand and stands up, smiling happily. With his other hand he pushes his goggles up, revealing two circles of clear skin around his eyes on a childish face otherwise smeared with mud."

"Don't worry, I'm fine. Just a little clumsy sometimes, I guess."

"Yeah, mostly." The boy grins sheepishly. "I kind of got bored staying inside. And I like feeling the rain sometimes. Though Mom and Dad would probably yell at me for running in this kind of weather without an umbrella. If they were here, I mean."

"They're pretty nice, actually. I'm staying with Guilmon in one of the community buildings, and we have an entire apartment to ourselves." Takato rubs the back of his head awkwardly. "But cooking is a lot harder than I thought it would be. We've been eating a lot of bread and sandwiches."
