Mass-Interaction in Desset

Who: Draftees.
What: FIGHT FOR YOUR LIVES... or wander around. idfk.
When: Anytime this week.
Where: Desset City
Summary: Mass-interaction post in the city for the poor souls who've been drafted.
Rating: Anywhere from PG to R.

[With permission from the mods, I've gone ahead and put up this... post... for everyone who was interested in actually threading in the city. You can either prose or write in first-person; totally up to you. Actually threading a fight with the Third Party is also optional. Just keep in mind that if you do you'll have to be the one controlling the enemy's actions and whatnot. If you're not sure how to go about that, just remember the information they've provided us with. They're not very tough, but if you still need an idea with how they fight, just read up on this a bit. Please do remember that the enemies we're fighting are weaker compared to the ones previously fought, though. |D;

But yeah. Mass-interaction, guys. YOU KNOW WHAT TO DO.]

It's nothing I can't handle. [For now, at least. He'd be in trouble if he runs into any more opponents.] I'm going to have to ask for replacement scrolls though.

[... Assuming the owl is with him though, Ted might give the owl a halfhearted glare (which he'll deny is a pout, because he never pouts) for leaving him behind, otherwise, he turns to Albert.] I hope you fared better than me, at least.

No water scrolls? [Albert glanced back down at Ted's injured leg pointedly. Meanwhile, the giant owl spares Ted a brief stare before preening its feathers busily.]

I haven't had any harmful encounters yet. [Though it did somewhat sting his pride when he had to evade or retreat so often.]

I only had two, and one of them got destroyed before I even had the chance to use it. [Stupid owl.]

At least that makes one of us. Sorry about disappearing, at that.

[Vincent has been swooping through the battlefield, shooting down enemy after enemy. But all of this fighting has taken its toll on his mental barriers. There are four demons within him longing for release. After a while... the strongest of his monsters gains control. It's always a struggle to contain him, and Vincent finds it no different this time around.]

[The black haired man transforms into the winged demon, slashing his claws at the Third Party soldiers in front of him before taking to the sky.]

[Chaos has taken over.]

[Kain couldn't hold it back any longer... he knew there were only mere days to go before they were meant to return, but he felt a need to post a message revealing his feelings to Rydia. So he chooses to do that just before he enters the battle on this particular day of fighting.]

[...and after finishing that, he glances abruptly toward someone who's just moved past him. It's that demon. He frowns deeply. Of all the individuals to be out here with, he trusts Yuber least of all. Seeing him in the armor that resembles his own doesn't help matters. That, and Kain has some scores to settle with him. Why not deal with him out here?]

[Kain smirks and takes off to catch up with Yuber's position.]

[Eventually, Derek will start sending in video to Albert; anything from individual buildings, to rooms inside where he's found members of the Third Party (often, these shots will include images of various soldier; all of them tied up, unconscious, and wounded in some way that would keep them off the battlefield for awhile), anything useful he finds, such as weapons caches, and rooftop shots to help triangulate where exactly Derek is in relation to their original drop off point. He even manages to make it to this enclosure's barrier, and takes a picture of that, too.]

[Good place to be, as long as no enemies spot you there Albert. But go ahead and enjoy the show of your demon killing quite a few of the enemy.

And feel free to have Albert know about Ragna and Kain thinking a fully powered demon is a great target for their agressions.]

[And Ragna finds Yuber who just happened to finish killing one of the enemy and was about to start recording what he could and looting the dead.] Have you come to bore me some more? Or would you prefer to be like this pathetic idiot here?

[Such a stupid move there Kain. Truly, what person in their right mind would attack a fully powered demon? Well, nearly fully powered since he's still lacking his monster summons.

He can tell someone is behind him now, there is that oh so subtle shift in the air that means another person is around. He has his swords ready thinking it is one of those Third Party idiots and instead sees Kain. So he's holding back for now since his orders are not to attack unless he has to protect himself. Of course, that doesn't mean he can't threaten and taunt them into fighting so he can get a few extra kills in.] Ready to die then?

[And just note that similarity now. It was somewhat for you Kain, that he requested this. The demon thought it would be so fun to show just what a resemblance they have. There is definitely quite an amazing one now.]

[Anyone looking up may well notice someone else with large wings, black ones though, unlike the white ones of their opponent, and a smaller set of black wings also like anyone else in Luceti.

At least Folken isn't doing too bad against them for all that he's not much of a fighter. But overall, he's like Albert, trying more for gathering information and only fighting when absolutely necessary. Once he takes down a target, he'll land on a rooftop and the large wings will disappear.]

Destroyed... Hn. [Albert opens his satchel to see just how many scrolls he's carrying. The only water scroll he has at the moment is a Kindness Rain. He takes out a Healing Wind scroll and offers it to Ted as he continues speaking.]

Do not worry; there was no harm done on my side. [On your side, on the other hand...] I did wonder what happened when I didn't see you again. Did you lose the owl at some point?

[Albert continues to observe, watching the black knight wade through the battlefield with inhuman ease. It's actually somewhat fascinating, as this is the Yuber that his grandfather and cousin would have witnessed years ago -- decked in black armor, hair unbound, and all that much more intimidating.

He knows about the foolishness of the humans, and he certainly won't intervene without good reason. They should know better.]

[Yuber almost makes it look incredibly easy with how fast he takes down any he sees. The centuries of experience he has is quite obvious. He's easily cutting down any of the Third Party he sees. Some magic to blast them out of the air first, then swiftly taking them out with his swords.

But at least he is following orders and has not outright attacked any "allies" first. It is amazing the power a human can have over one like him, no matter how much that power may annoy the demon to no end.]

[Kain keeps a careful eye on any stray Third Party members who might end up coming their way, but so far so good. His way to Yuber is clear.]

[He shakes his head defiantly in answer. It's the monster that has to die today. Especially since that monster dares to resemble him. That only makes Kain's hatred for him deepen. He feels he can finish him off with little trouble... perhaps killing off many Third Party warriors has gotten Kain to be a little overconfident.]

[It doesn't take much to get Kain attacking, either. He leaps skyward and comes flying downward toward Yuber with his spear aiming for him.]

[More like it is Kain who dares resemble the demon since Yuber has had this armor for centuries now.

And that old trick again? Though he definitely did note the dragoon was able to accomplish a far greater leap than before. Still, if anything, that just made it easier to dodge because the demon had more time to figure out where the dragoon would land and also to use magic to bring him down even faster.

Kain had definitely better watch out for the numerous bolts of lightning headed in his direction now, and they would be far harder than normal to dodge because the demon isn't needing to do as much to aim his magic now. It is now very much going right towards the demon's target and those bolts look much brighter and more deadly than before.]

[Kain would accuse the demon of being like him anyway, because... that's what Kain does.

[And Kain is definitely a lot faster than usual now, with the power cap off, but he's unable to dodge the incoming lightning attack. He takes a leap backward to try and move aside anyway but ends up with a whole lot of zapping right at him. Like a Thundaga to the face. It's definitely going to slow him from this point on.]

[Grimacing and then glaring, Kain rushes forth to attempt stabbing at the demon in retaliation. He thrusts the spear wildly toward him.]

... I did.

NOEL VERMILLION! Now let us go! We have a lot to accomplish! With how you used your guns earlier, I trust you are quite skilled with it!

...

Ah, I almost forgot! You may call me Bang Shishigami! The vigilante who fights in the name of LOVE AND JUSTICE!

S-So loud.

[Though it likely isn't visible with that helmet, the demon is smirking because killing the dragoon was going to be so easy if he kept with these predictable attacks.

Truly, just a simple step out of the way and he was out of the way of the lance. Then Yuber will turn towards Kain to attack with his two swords.]

[Kain's still determined that he will be killing the demon, it's just... going to be an insane challenge. But they managed to take down Zemus, didn't they? ...Of course that battle was fought with others along as well, but Kain pushes that to the back of his mind. He can do this.]

[Silently cursing Yuber, Kain struggles to fend off the swords. He clashes the spear against one of them, but the other sword deals a blow to an arm. He counters, jabbing the spear forth again.]

[Oh hey there Ted, guess who happens to be going past right now?

Come on, really, guess?

Yeah, it's Ted's most favorite demon, looking very much like he did back in the days Ted knew him.]

[... Yeah, he's freezing in his steps at the sight of him.

His initial thought was running, which... is actually a very plausible idea right now. Sure, Albert helped with the healing of his leg before, but that wasn't an excuse to try to pick a fight. Never mind that he's bitter about the fact that Yuber harmed Sora, he's no idiot. That, and it's not worth the trouble starting a fight he can't win.

He'll just back away slowly, hopefully without Yuber spotting him.]

[Taking advantage of that scroll's power now.] Mid-flight. I'm not sure how that happened.

[He looks at her curiously for a moment at that. He wasn't very familiar with her fighting style to gauge her combat ability, but she didn't strike him as the type to join a war like this.] Why?
