PRE-BATTLE PREPARATIONS

[You hero types have your last minute battle prep here. Talk amongst each other, go over the plan, what have you. This can probably take place on the way to the mountains or maybe even in the grocery store like Luffy planned.]

[Luffy is here waiting at the meat shop anxiously. They know where Aku is so they should all hurry up and get here so they can go kick his ass. Luffy may also be accompanied by a certain giant angry wolf too, and there's a high chance that she's not very happy. She never is really. :|]

[Aside from being crazy ready with supplies, like a few coils of rope around his arms for mountain climbing (nobody told him about the teleporter!), Sokka just listens in to the plan and doesn't say much. He's clearly distracted by something else.]

THE BATTLE

[The sight of Ginko's abduction is the same mountainous area it was a few days ago, only rainier now. There seemed to be no indication of life anywhere, although off in the mountains seemed to be a small cave leading inward. Faint signs of scorch marks are only vaguely visible on the rock, now nearly washed away as the rain continues to come down. Maybe the heroes picked the wrong spot?]

[Rain beats heavily down on Adell's head. He's not too far away from Luffy and Moro, but spread out enough to give them their space. Right now, he's sticking as close to Flonne as possible, though. He's not going to let Aku touch her if he can help it.

He then takes a moment to glance over at Simon Belmont, and gives the vampire hunter a solemn nod. They both knew this wasn't going to be easy. And for what it's worth, Adell will be trying to protect both of them, though Flonne comes first in his mind. ...It was only a matter of time before the demon showed his face. And when he did...]

[Simon carefully surveys the area. He has his whip in one hand and his cross in the other. He has never fought as part of a group, before. He's not sure whether Adell can hurt Aku or not, but Flonne is his real concern. Not wanting to see a lady come to harm, he'll be trying to protect her, as well.]

THE RESCUE

[This thread is reserved for Sanji and his crack squad of rescuing superheroes, as well as Ginko further into the thread and Nami's corpse unconscious body.]

[There's a cave entrance near the battlefield. Other caves dot the mountain and the interconnecting caverns are likely to intersect with one another. Deep, deep down inside the mountain lurks an unspeakable evil. And perhaps a prison. Unfortunately there seems to be no visible signs of life anywhere nearby. However deeper inside the caves, a tunnel that is clearly not naturally forming seems to descend even further down, at first at a slight inclination until it goes straight downward into a deep, deep hole. Did anyone bring rope?]

[navigating through the caves is not exactly an easy task - Sanji's been in them multiple times at this point, but not these caves. Where evil lurks.

And a whole lot of darkness, too, but they've brought lanterns. No shitty problems there.

After a while of carefully making their way along, though, Sanji's starting to feel the first threads of frustration. Shit, he isn't and wasn't expecting a quick rescue by any means, but parading through the caves, becoming progressively more lost, isn't what he had in mind, either. Just another reason why he'll be damned if he trusts someone with a shitface after this.]

Chopper? [A glance over his shoulder] Smell anything?

[Chopper can feel it. Nami is somewhere in this labyrinth of tunnels - the light scent of mikans, persisting even through time and conditions, flows over his senses as he breathes in. He looks over at Sanji, then takes several cautious whiffs. When he turns back, there's a resoluteness in his voice.]

The rain is making it hard to tell where it's coming from, but she's definitely here, Sanji.

POST-BATTLE

[With Aku gone and Nami returned, Sokka finally shows up after seemingly gone missing during the battle. He's drenched and limping on one leg and using his sword to balance himself and in pretty terrible shape, but once he's close enough to the group, he find a rock to ease himself down on. He'll find out how the rescue went later. For now... he needs a moment to rest. So he just sits there and tries to ignore how much battles suck when you don't dodge everything. Or take a tumble down the mountain while being chased by a horde of Aku soldiers. But at least he's alive. Smoke bombs for the win.]

[Those protection spells are nothing to sneeze at, and Katara's beat up and exhausted but in far better shape than she should be. And now, seeing Sokka, she feels like she can breathe again. She can't run - but there's some 'far too quick than is good for her' walking that is going on towards him right now.]

[And at house #6 all of a sudden three people just appear out of nowhere in the living room. One of them would be Iris, the other two are Nami and Ginko.

Nami and Ginko definitely look like they need medical attention, but Iris looks fine. Anyway, she's going to vanish since she sees people who can help Nami and Ginko and the others are going to need some backup here.]

[Raine and Hugo had been preparing for something like this, as they were discussing basic first aid before the intrusion, even though the teleportation itself is rather sudden when it happens. Raine is taken a little by surprise, but recovers as she takes a step forward... and the person who teleported them is gone in just an instant.

Frowning when she realizes just how badly off the injured people seem... she'll let Hugo take care of any questions as she begins to mentally prepare her magic, first.]
