Summary: The next experiment begins, Naoki takes a turn for the ~~crazy~~ worst—there are too many humans here, after all, and obviously this needs to be fixed. Meanwhile, Isamu shoulders the role of ‘demi-fiend’.
Rating: PG-13

[The fire in Naoki's palm slows, the crackling becoming sedated but it doesn't disappear immediately. He tilts his head slightly to the side, curiously trailing his gaze across his wing and then fixing on his face.]

...Don't order me.

[Mikage is unruffled, zaiphon crackling around the wing.]

If you attack again I will not hesitate.

[Naoki stares at him, but it's more curious than aggressive. Though he is sizing him up, carefully evaluating.]

Are you human?

[Mikage just gives him a steady glare, unmoving. Does he look human to you?]

Heh. [Naoki lets the last of the fire dissipate, waving his hand dismissively.] I don't have any conflict with you, then.

[Mikage's brows furrow, glancing sidelong at the village.] If you wish to kill them, then kill them. But one of them is mine.

If they're yours, I won't touch them. [He cocks his head to one side.] Who is it?

A child of my world. His name is Teito Klein. [Mikage gestures, a string of zaiphon shooting from his fingertips and hovering over House 35 before carving a mark on the side wall- the mark of Verloren.] There.

[Naoki idly follows this with his eyes, makes a low noise of acknowledgment. It's as good as a territory marker, for a demon--something Naoki understands well.] Alright.

[With a nod, Mikage shivers briefly and withdraws the wing. With no conflict, he has no need for it. He does finally smile, though, because the potential doom of mortals is always entertaining.] Enjoy your feast, demon.

Haha. [Naoki turns with a chuckle. An I'm not--I won't-- gets caught, lost in the back of his mind, without even the strength to rise to the surface.] I will.
