Who: Frontliners, Infiltrators, Kidnappees (See here for info)
What: The attack on the base!
When: October 11th (all day)
Where: Renegade Malnosso Facility
Rating: Varies on thread!
It had been over twenty-four hours since the infiltration. The Malnosso were notorious for their long work hours, many pulling twenty hour shifts at any given time. Fortunately, each department had its share of private resting areas with beds to allow the overworked staff - or infiltrators - get some much needed shut eye between tasks. But now there allies were arriving. All the information they had gathered and sabotaged planned was about to go into play. Would they be successful?
As for the kidnapped, John's pill was finally starting to cancel out the effects of the drugs. Already brighter and more alert than before, it would soon be time for their escape and either flee or help their comrades storm the building.
The front line attackers had met with their strategist before the battle and were now positioned in the forested area around the facility, out of sight and mind for the Malnosso inside. All they needed was the sign to attack from their person inside.
----
OOC Notes: Note that when the front liners attack, security checkpoints and Shifting should be disabled. For those curious about Floor 3, there is still no access to it. HOWEVER, there is no longer a Shift protecting it. If any character is reckless or foolish enough to access it, do so while considering the possibility of your character being seriously injured (or even killed!) in what ensues.
To recap: read Albert's OOC marching orders. Security guards are armed with short swords, night sticks, and hand guns. Most have normal human abilities, but higher ranked guards in high security areas will be highly skilled and may possess some amount of superhuman strength and speed. The Malnosso droids/drones all possess superhuman strength and speed. Since everyone is at full power, they are at 'half strength' relative to what people are used to. Brute strength and strong electrical attacks will be effective on them. It's also possible the infiltrators will keep most of them from ever activating to respond to the attack. They are not invincible and with enough effort, people should be able to handle them.
Note: Thanks to the infiltrators, most of the drones have been disabled and won't activate during the alarm. A small number will be present, but no more than twenty at the most.
Finally, going back to Floor 3, there will be a separate thread within the log for that. If someone attempts to enter it after the battle, I'll setup the scenario there for people to interact with.

First comes first for her, though. She steps forward; even though Minato's answer worried her, she won't give up there just yet:] I'll go look. He has to be here somewhere.
[And down the hall she goes.]

[ He amends with a quick glance at Minato. ]

last edit, i swear ;_;
Her determination unwavering, she continues her search, but not before turning her attention back to Minato.]
What does your friend look like? I can try helping you, if you want.

Empty, empty empty... actually. Noel has a feeling she's looking in the wrong hallway; let's turn the corner and try these row of cells instead.]
no subject
He's following, but up ahead there's another branch-off, increasing the maze.] Maybe we should split up?

[ There's DISEASE AND DANGER around EVERY CORNER. ]
no subject
No, she's too busy peering down that particular hallway to answer; she feels like there might be someone down this one, but she'll wait for the two of them to figure out what to do before splitting off... or something.]

Wait. Was that...? Noel stops immediately, attempting to get a closer look in the window by leaning in a little closer. That mess of hair; there's no mistaking it.] R-Ragna!?

Good God, what have they done to his hair? [ Yes, he thinks that experimentation is that callous they would ruin the hair of another villager. He stares at the door – what was it Summers told him? – right, that button there. He presses it and the door opens. ]

poor ragnasince she's way too busy being anxious with getting that door open. And once it does, she allows herself to go inside and... pretty much rush over to his side.Unsurprisingly, he doesn't look too good in shape. Worried, she places a hand on his shoulder and shakes it a little.] Ragna? Ragna, can you hear me!? Hey...!

His pulse rate has slowed right down. He wasn't lucky enough to get an upgrade like us; credit where it's due, I'll never badmouth John after this. [ He'd like to have his tricorder with him to get a better reading, but what can he do? He slings Ragna's prone arm around his shoulder before he stops to think. And makes up his mind, holding out his phaser to Noel. ]
Take this.

is this a gun, doctor B|McCoy's words don't help ease her worry much.] "Slowed down"? Is he going to be okay!?no subject
Do you need help carrying him? [if not, he should probably keep looking.]
no subject
[ God Ragna you're so fat and you have stupid hair. ]
I'll let you know.

With that said, she knows they have to get Ragna out of here pronto, but... looking back to Minato. Maybe they should keep helping him out, but... aughhhh. Noel doesn't know what to doooo.]
