Who: FF IV cast and friends
What: A kiddy sleepover with the Best Babysitter Ever.
When: Monday evening to night.
Where: The FF IV house.
Summary: One way or another, the kiddies of the FF IV house and whatever chibified friends want to join in have come to the house for a sleepover. Uncle Theodore will be watching over everybody, and there will be storytime before bed.
Rating: G, for the love of everything G.

It had not even been a week since he arrived in Luceti (as far as he remembered) but Theodore found himself settling in already. The place was comfortable, seemed safe, and while he did worry about his little siblings he thought things were better for them here than in Kaipo, where they'd had to run after Mist's fall. Certainly no one from Baron was pursuing them, unless of course one counted the little dragoon.

He'd run into a surprising amount of other children as well, and he'd found himself gathering them up unofficially. It helped that at least a couple of them seemed to live in the same house he'd woken up in. A strange coincidence, but he wasn't complaining.

As he used one of the rare moments of downtime he had to fix himself a meal, he wondered what the children were up to now. Cecil and Rydia had promised to stay within sight of the house, and it was about time for them to be getting back.

Leaving his preparing meal on the stove to finish, he headed for the door to see if he could find them. He had no idea what he was in for.

[This is where all the kidlings (and anyone else) comes barging in on Theodore.]

Hey!Race you!

[And Rydia charges back to the house at top speed. Does anyone want to try and beat her there?]

[Ceodore takes that challenges and races behind Rydia. He's a competitive boy but he'll only dart ahead by a little.]

[Selphie's not far behind Ceodore and Rydia.]

You're goin' down Rydia!

[And as he sees the children come racing back to the house, Theodore raises a hand to wave. He's a little worried that he doesn't see all of them, but he figures the others will be along soon enough.]

[Rydia waves while she's running, and giggles at Selphie.]

Nooooo!

[But, oops, she does stumble.]

[Being the well-mannered little chap that he is, Ceodore comes to a skidding halt when Rydia trips.]

[[Now, who was this man Val spied in the window as she innocently stopped by to check on Ceodore? He is trouble prone after all. She recognized that face and... let herself in, ignoring the playing children, even if they are adorable.]]

[The man turns to her and raises an eyebrow in great surprise. He doesn't often see a woman so scantily clad, much less so close to winter.

Even stranger is how she addresses him, however.] "Father"? I'm sorry, but I believe you've mistaken me for someone else. I have no children.

[[She's not so scantily clad, but still, plenty of leg and chest that make it awkward for the season.]]

You... don't? You don't remember me at all? That... Wow... I was hoping you would... Though, that you don't remember me whatsoever... or recognize me... Does the name Valvalis mean anything to you?

Valvalis... you aren't... the Lady of Wind, are you? I haven't even started on my experiments with creating beings from the four elements yet. As far as I know your existence is still in the planning stages.

That I am. I've been here for...

Wait... then... you are from a time before my creation? This is something new. Well then, I'm your creation, in the flesh. And I didn't begin calling you "father" until the two of us were brought here. Separately, mind you.

[OOC: I had two ideas for an AU back in the original experiment, the "Lunar Family" one and the "Within the Mist" one. The one I used last time was Lunar Family, so I'm using Within the Mist now. Like most of my AUs it's ridiculously complicated, but short version is Theodore ran off to Mist with Cecil after his Mom and Dad died, and only became Golbez much later after Baron attacked Mist, and even then that was mostly to protect Cecil and Rydia. Also Golbez is a Super Summoner instead of his usual Tin Tyrant self.]

I... see. Fascinating. To be honest I hadn't considered my experiments to be the sort of thing that would make me qualify as a Father, so this is... a little overwhelming, I'll admit.

Nonetheless... I'm pleased to see you here in the flesh, Valvalis. It seems my efforts turned out far better than I could have ever imagined.

[Party! This will be mostly kid-based interactions with Theodore around to play chaperone if things get unpleasant or dangerous.]

[And Frey's settled right in at the party, laughing as he taps someone on the shoulder and runs.] Tag! You're it!

Hey! Get back here! [And there goes Selphie giving chase.]

Have to catch me first! [And he'll be darting under and around furniture as he runs.]

I wanna play too!

[Ceodore runs into the room and immediately tries to veer away from Selphie so he's not caught straight off.]

[Rolls his eyes at the antics of the slightly younger kids and continues doing his own thing- he's 'practicing' jumping by climbing onto surfaces and, well, jumping from them. A chair at the moment.]

[After the events of the above two threads, it's about time for the children to sleep. Theodore proceeds to call them all down to the living room.]

Everyone! Come down for bedtime if you want to hear tonight's story!

[It's been a long day, but Rydia isn't about to admit it. She perks up and darts on over, to settle down beside Theodore.]

That's this one about?

[The promise of a story gets the little prince's attention immediately. He pads into the room with a sucker in his mouth, and if the amount of sticky on his hands and face is any hint, he's been working on it off and on for a while.]

I want a story!

[Selphie zooms past the other two (still in her overalls and yellow sweater) and latches onto Theodore's leg before looking up with an excited look on her face.]
