Summary: Hey, that's a rather interesting-looking button at the bottom of that statue. I wonder what happens if I press it?

[Anyone passing through the center of town this evening will have a very hard time missing that large golden Santa statue that has suddenly appeared in the fountain. But... wait, isn't that Bil instead of Santa? Somehow, that isn't exactly a surprise.

But perhaps the most interesting feature of the statue is the large button at its base. Will you press it?]

I wasn't sure if I was being a little too optimistic in thinking that. Do you really think it's safe?

Perhaps it is, then again it may not be. Unless you think I should be the one to press this large button first? That way you are unharmed.

[Litchi is almost wincing when the gifts just poof into existence at the feet of the statue. She's a little worried about what might be in the box with her name on it, but hey. It's worth a try, right? None of the Malnosso's experiments have been fatal. Yet.]

...Maybe they really have gotten into the spirit of giving.

[Frederic stares down at the box in his hand and begins to curiously look at it from all angles.]

Perhaps they have, though we can't be too careful.

[Litchi pauses thoughtfully, giving the gift another careful glance over before lifting the lid from the box (with no small amount of caution). The wary look on her face fades as she spots the contents, though -- a Chinese-style dress.

...She's definitely thrilled by this.]

If this is just an experiment, it's a bit of a cruel joke...!

[Frederic gets a small box of his own, then opens it slowly to see a pocket watch (http://www.antiquehelper.com/auctionimages/37851t.jpg) with his name engraved on the inside and the case cover has an engraved eagle which looks like the Polish coat of arms (http://polish-blog.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/10/polish-coat-of-arms.png). His eyes grow wide as well, since this watch appears to be a working one unlike his old one.]

I'd like to believe this is not a cruel joke, considering this watch works. Yet I know it must have some sort of bomb or something inside.
