[Anyone passing through the center of town this evening will have a very hard time missing that large golden Santa statue that has suddenly appeared in the fountain. But... wait, isn't that Bil instead of Santa? Somehow, that isn't exactly a surprise.

But perhaps the most interesting feature of the statue is the large button at its base. Will you press it?]

I figured as much. Those equipment remind me of something Doctor McCoy would use.

As well, he does know McCoy to a certain extent, but the mun hasn't gotten an answer whether or not they're working together or not.]

Well...

Kamui runs it, though more on the general side of things that includes maintaining it as far as I know. The people who normally take care of the patients would be Doctor McCoy and Doctor Faye-Ling.

[Hmm. Doctor McCoy's he's acquainted with, Kamui and Doctor Faye-Ling he's not. Can't say he's ever even heard mention of the later two over the journals either, but the network over the books is a babbling mess half the time so he could have easily ignored their contributions.]

Oh. I really am out the loop. [It's been difficult to get settled. More difficult than thought. The experiments hitting hard those two weeks and the lingering effects therefrom, tensions with pirate neighbours... that blurred out weekend and the inexplicable aching heartache from it.]

It's not a surprise. The past few weeks have been a flurry of activities, so I don't suppose people get to pay attention to every detail. [She says as a way to reassure him. Not everyone knew those things anyway.]
