What: ~~Broship~~; just Naoki and Ted, c’mon. Hanging out…kinda.
When: Friday.
Where: Community Building 7, Floor 5, Room 21.
Summary: So Nami and Usopp have gone home. Naoki isn’t exactly in the best of moods. Solution: run to Ted, of course.
Rating: Idek. Nothing over PG. Barely over G? ...but here's a warning for SAP. So. Much. Sap.

[Gone. Naoki couldn’t believe it. He didn’t even want to believe it. It was easier to deny that they weren’t gone, not both of them within a few days. It wasn’t fair.

And he knew he was being a brat about it. A selfish one. Because he didn’t want them to go where he couldn’t see them anymore. He wanted them h—no. It was a thought that he couldn’t help but be angry at himself for. It was the thought that had drove him outside into the cold wind and snow, hands buried in his pockets and eyes fixed on the ground.

He wasn’t sure where to go. He’d left a note for Isamu and Richard and would likely contact them over the journals later but for now, he just—

Naoki stops, looks up. Community building 7…huh? He hadn’t even noticed his feet leading him here. But without preamble he was entering and scaling the steps. He had almost expected his body to take him here. There was just something…heh. He wanted to see Ted, he guessed. Somehow he was comforted around him. Soon enough he’d reach the door to his apartment and if his knock received no answer…he would sit on the floor next to it.

[There was a glint of amusement in Ted's eyes at the sight, but it quickly disappears as they head in. He's going to have to do his own bouts of stretching as well.]

[Naoki goes about finishing up his stretching inside, humming a bit and giving the air a few practice punches. It's been a little bit since his last fight--and hey. He's not supposed to hold back, right?]

[Not at all. Once Ted's lost the extra layers of clothes, back to the basic shirt and pants and all, he starts stretching as well. As soon as he's done with that, he swings the bo staff around experimentally, getting used to it's weight for battle purposes.]

[Naoki watches curiously out of the corner of his eye as he goes through some punches, at last pausing and giving his body another stretch. He turns a bright, rather expectant, look on Ted right about here.]

[Once he's done with that, he turns to face Naoki, grinning widely.] Don't go holding back on me now, all right?

Hey--I said I wouldn't last time, yeah? [Naoki turns as well, shifting his stance and raising his fists.]

Good to know. Think fast! [Ted quickly rushes forward, aiming to jab Naoki with the staff in the torso.]

Whoa-- [Naoki takes a quick hopping step backward to avoid that jab, twisting his body to the left. And his fist is raising as he aims a punch toward Ted's shoulder.]

[Ted moves to the opposite side, this time twirling the staff enough to aim for Naoki's side instead.]

[Naoki grunts and shifts one hand to deflect that blow with the palm of his hand. He moves forward this time, hopefully in close before he can move for another blow, a punch aimed at his chest.]

[He jumps back, a little more to the side, trying to avoid the blow. He knew that Naoki was really strong, and so direct hits will definitely hurt a lot.]

[Naoki moves quickly after him, trying to keep this fight in close quarters, moving a leg out in hopes of snagging his ankle with a foot and pulling him off balance.]

[Wait, he's seen this scene before. Though it was not the most graceful action, Ted quickly jumps back before he can try snagging his leg, using his staff in an effort to block it, then swing it forward to make Naoki lose his balance instead.]

Nn-- [Naoki's eyes widen with alarm and, caught by surprise, he goes tumbling to the ground, landing in a crouch. It takes only an instant for him to shift a foot under himself and surge up toward Ted, however.]

[He's ready for that, moving the bo staff in front of him, this time in a more defensive stance rather than offensive like earlier.]

[Naoki grunts as his arms--crossed together in front of him--come in contact with the bo staff. He could break it, if he wanted to, but it isn't his target. He takes a few steps back for now, rethinking his strategy.]

[Break the staff and you'd break his heart. It's Tir's after all. You do that though, while Ted drops to the ground and tries to sweep you off your feet using one leg.]

[Good thing he's not aiming for it then, eh? Naoki's eyes widen fractionally, but then he's jumping to avoid that leg, moving forward and throwing a punch at him, keeping his other arm up in case Ted goes to strike.]

[He had thought to parry that for a moment, just a short moment, but quickly drops the staff and gets out of the way of the punch, reaching out to grab Naoki's arm and pull him forward, his back turned to the teen, intending to use his own momentum to toss Naoki over his shoulder and onto the ground.]

[Naoki shifts his free arm quickly as he's grabbed, wrapping it around Ted as best he can manage, intent on bringing him along if he's going to be thrown.]

[Ted lets out an undignified squawk at that, tumbling forward as well and crashing against Naoki in surprise.]

[fdssljklfd sort of as planned?! Might be falling now.]

[Ow ow ow...]

... Do we consider that as a draw?

[owowowow.]

Y-yeah, I think so.

[C-crawls off of you now.] Well, at least that's one move I'm not trying on you again.
