No cut for this -- this is a MASS INTERACTION POST for the You Are What You Love event! For those of you who don't want to have to post up actual entries in your characters' journals (though you are of course still free to do that), this is the place to be all week if you just want to toss out random shenanigans! (Or more serious shenanigans. Or whatever brand of shenanigans you prefer, really.) There's no real need to state your date/location in the subject line of your tag, but you may feel free to do so!

[ oh, god. she's going to have to undress him herself, isn't she? it's the only way to do this without getting wigged out by...what she now properly realizes has probably already happened. ]

Hates you? What about me? I'm definitely getting hated, here.

What? You're FINE, aren't you! You're yourself! And I'm---

Argh!

[ oh, thank god. there's the house. buffy veers towards the window. she's not marching this parade through the front door. ]

[Jack stumbles after, forgetting how difficult it is to walk on high-heeled shoes in the snow. Not that he ever knew how difficult it was in the first place. And he's so familiar with this entrance by now, it's nearly second nature.]

Watch out--it's been sticking a bit.

[ she clambers inside, trying to ignore the comment that suggests jack's familiarity with this. then, she holds a hand out to him. he's short, now. and without his natural strength or her slayer strength, he might need the extra help. ]

Take my hand.

Bugger. [This is so awkward. Yes, his natural strength is gone, and he has no supernatural strength. But mostly it's the damned thigh-high boots.] Door wouldn't have been better, Annie?

[Huffing, he scrambles up the side of the house with a good hold on her hand.]

[ is she seriously this light? buffy is surprised while reaching down with the other hand to help left her body double up to the sill and then allowing 'him' to clamber in the rest of the way himself. ]

And give everyone else this view? No thanks.

Ah, yes...about that...[Jack tumbles through the window with none of his usual grace.] Good Lord, Buffy! Clumsy, you!

You're just not used to it.

[ she crosses over to her closet. picking out a few things here and there. things she doesn't mind probably losing. ] And just think -- that, right there? Is pretty much basically me when you first tried to maraud me. The day of the famous tacoing.

[ she'll let that sink in a bit. deslayered, then. he probably could have taken her if he had pushed past what skills had been learned rather than bestowed. ]

[Jack? Is busy peeling off clothes. The turtleneck is off first, then the skirt.] So what you're saying is, I could have had you that first day?

You missed your cha-- Hey! [ she steps forward. ] Stop it.

[ she can't quite handle watching him undress her in front of herself. so she reaches out to grab an arm. ] Just...God, let me do that. My body, right? [ well. no. her body is hers. it's not like it was a swap.

still, the words hung strangely between them after the conversation that had taken place in the way early morning. ]

Aye, I missed that opportune moment. Though thinking back, not quite sure what I would have done with you once I had you, am I?

[The pirate submits, knowing that now there's no chance of rabbiting off.] Shall I close my eyes and go by touch?

No. Just...close your eyes and stand still. [ she takes the half-off turtleneck and begins to tug it off for jack. this way -- despite the overwhelming awkwardness in what is essentially undressing captain jack sparrow -- at least it's her doing the undressing and not him. ]

I guess you would have taken my valuables and that would have been the end of it. Short story.

[With eyes closed, it's much easier to imagine it's him she's undressing and not herself. He crosses his arms after the turtleneck is off.] Or the longer story, in which I held you for ransom. I could do with a good kidnapping, just to keep in practice.

Ransom? And what do you think you'd have got for me?

[ she frowns to herself as the ridiculousness of the outfit is truly revealed. buffy slips around to the back and unzips the skirt far more worthy of her high school days, letting the thing fall to the floor and gently advising, with two guiding hands, for jack to step out of it. ]

[Perhaps for the hundredth time since meeting up with her, Jack curses his luck. He allows her hands to guide him out of the clothing Horner picked out.] Maybe I would've just kept you.

[ the boots are next. this is going to be a little awkward. but she guides one of jack's hands to her shoulder to steady himself while she works it off. ]

You can't just keep people.

You can try.

[Again, submitting. There's no other choice, and Jack's not sad to see the end of those boots anyway.] What are you going to do with these strange clothes, Annie?

Well, I for one am glad that I haven't been triple-kidnapped.

[ and the second boot goes too. which means the stockings are next which means...oh, just get it over with. ] Burn them. It's the most charitable thing I could do.

[Jack loses his balance and flails a bit as she works over the stockings.] Aye; you probably wouldn't have enjoyed it. Though it wouldn't have damaged you, like the others.

[ she reaches up to steady him by the waist. this is weird. like an interactive mirror. she rolls the stocking off the first foot. ]

...Damaged?

]In spite of her "no touching" directive, Sparrow runs a hand lightly over the scar on his exposed abdomen.] Damaged.

[ standing straight again, she reaches for his hand. a little too late. the scar has already been traced. ] I guess I didn't realize how terrifying it looked. I mean -- I've never seen it from this angle. Or not in a mirror.

[Sparrow looks down at their joined hands. Smooth white skin. Something about it is slowly filling him with horror.] Annie--I don't like this. It's too much like going mad. Where's the clothes, be quick.

[ and this is why she had them set out already. a pair of jeans (light wash, boot cut). she dresses the life-size her-doll with a kind of efficiency. like dressing herself. nothing charged involved at all. nope. she simply leaves the thong because she's not giving up any of her actual unmentionables and, hey...there are boundaries. but that bra is going to have to be swapped out. the fit is laughable.

so biting her bottom lip for strength, she tries to make the whole experience as painless and nonchalant as possible. ]
