[Vash's eyes had finally recovered from the fix they had gone through and he could see perfectly again! This called for a celebration! He headed out towards the bakery to get some donuts!

Only, as he walked he suddenly found himself in a coat and boots that were a couple sizes too big. Those hands were not male hands he was looking down at. He hurries towards a window to peer at his reflection.

No... this had to be a cruel joke.

After a brief freak out, "Vash" can be found wandering around the square, mostly hovering around the clothing shop. He really should get into clothes that fit, but that means undressing and he needs more of a pep talk before he's ready for that. Question the young, black haired woman pacing around in Vash's coat? Or just stare as she mutters unhappily to herself about how she apparently can't catch a break for one day. JUST ONE DAY!]

On the morning of the 25th, you may or may not have heard a very loud scream from the Welcome Center. Anyone who goes to investigate will find a tiny boy with a weird looking collar around his neck looking terrified and panicking. Fun times.

Through out the rest of the week, you can find the earlier mentioned boy around the village, with the collar hidden by a scarf. Alternatively, you might find a green-haired teenager with freaking shark teeth instead. Both look decidedly awkward.]

If your character looks up, they'll see a truly unusual sight for inside the enclosure. And it does a barrel roll.

[Monday the 24th, in the afternoon you will probably hear the enraged yell of a young girl in the forest to the south of the village along the river. If you follow where that yell came from, you will find said "little girl" staring at her reflection in the water, very much in shock coupled with a little pain.

This little girl is actually Knives. It appears he took the form of Tessla, the sister he never met but wishes she had lived. So now he has become her, representing that love for his siblings and wish that she never died.

Unfortunately, her clothes stayed the same, so now she's wearing a jacket that is much too big, acting like a clunky dress. The rest of her clothes, including her shoes are folded up next to her. She's still in too much shock to do much about her cold little self, just looking down into the icy water.]

[So, Terra's a moogle. Being much shorter than usual is not much fun, even if all the fur means that she's well-protected from the cold. Still, in a fit of stubbornness, she attempts to go through with her daily shopping. What results is a lot of hopping, trying to reach things on higher shelves and plenty of embarrassed 'can you get that for me, please?' questions.

At some point later in the day, after giving up on most errands thanks to the height difference, Terra emerges from one of the stores and peers around. She almost decides to teleport home instead of dealing with the high snow drifts again, when her moogle form suddenly changes. Instead of a cute, tiny white-furred being with a pink pom-pom, she is now a tall, muscular dark-skinned being (http://finalfantasy.wikia.com/wiki/Maduin) with silver hair pulled back in a ponytail and large horns jutting out from her forehead. The only clothing that can be seen is a loincloth. Just what everyone wants to see!]

Why is her life so terrible. As soon as she'd woken up this morning -- and tried very manfully not to scream like a little girl since what would people do if they heard Sanji screaming like a girl over the journals?! -- Xion had snuck into Axel's room, stolen a bunch of his clothing, and ... managed ... to get ... changed. Painfully slowly. Sanji, she loves you, but there are things one does not wish to ever see.

Finally, FINALLY, she'd made it out of the house, scarf wrapped tight around her face, intending to head for the clothing store and see if she could find something that really fit, as Sanji is slightly taller than Axel.

Plus it's an excuse to get out. of. the house. even if that means running into people....

tl;dr there is a Sanji in unusual clothing and a scarf hiding his face moving very nervously through town. be prepared for "him" to jump and possibly RUN THE FUCK OFF should you approach "him." ]

[It really is something to wake up as...not yourself, but at the very least, Dist never woke up in the body of someone he knew. So after he had woken up and went to the restroom to bathe and brush his teeth, the image in the mirror made him stop and stare.

Tentatively, he reached out to touch the glass, then his face and...yell. Loudly. Oh, and he may also jump back and fall into the tub. Housemates, if you come investigate, you will one (1) Jade Curtiss flailing and cursing in your bathtub...in his PJs.

LATER THAT DAY, after he's calmed himself, Dist turned Jade (why Jade of all people?! He wasn't even here anymore!) will escape the house and make his way as quickly as possible through the village. Where's he headed? The library. Hopefully, he can hide out there for a while until dark, then return home. This is insane. At least he wasn't the Professor.]

[Ayumu didn't feel any different when she woke up this morning, not like the last time something strange happened to her. Which is why she's particularly alarmed to find that she's a lot... smaller. Not to mention male.

When she slips out to the bathroom the mirror confirms her guess, as it shows a face she hasn't seen in years, and she adds one more reason to the "why I'm annoyed at the Malnosso" tally; this one is a particularly dark mark, being rather cruel what with Susumu's current absence and all.

This means that for the first little while, at the least, she'll be shut up in her room, working on mindless small tasks while she thinks.]

[Which means that Okita will be dropping by since Ayumu not being out in the kitchen is unusual enough to warrant the captain going to check on her. It's unlikely that she's ill, but perhaps it has something to do with the strange situation Souji has found himself to be in as well.

When he woke up in the morning, he was different. So different, in fact, that it had taken quite some getting used to. Thankfully, it wasn't so hard to grab some of the laundry off the line that was supposed to belong to Hijikata and dress himself. Now, the hard part was deciding whether he wanted to play out this role or keep being himself.

[ So Nina was at the bar tonight. She's been doing this a lot - mostly as "Greg" or sometimes with Nina when Buffy isn't there. In either case, she was in the bathroom there when... it happened. This is a day or two into the shenanigans around town so she knows people have been having their body switch, so she's less alarmed and more mildly annoyed when she feels all of her clothes get tighter as she walks out of the stall. She's also just more angry when she finds she can't shift back, but she's not surprised.

...What is surprising is when she looks in the mirror, however. Her - his - eyes widen in surprise. It's a look she cannot recall ever seeing on his face. The eyes are wide with what she knows is fear. Fear, but also a growing fury. No.-]

[His voice. It is by no means the first time she heard it coming out of her own lips - of course not, she does it all the time as a cruel joke - but not one since arriving here in Luceti as she taken his form. A fist clenches. No.

If she were honest she objectively knew this was a possibility. She objectively should have known it was probable that it would be something unpleasant. But she did not allow herself to consider this possibility. Fear - about this change, not really, more about what it has done to her psyche - gives way to rage, and she needs to make the reflection go away. Needs.

With a strained yell she gives (what she assumes is) a powerful punch to the mirror. Her intent is the shatter it but- no. Her proportional strength isn't even being maintained now. She only barely cracks it.

That said, this was probably loud and there might be people outside of the bathroom. So. Yeah. ]

[Well, this experiment sure was a doozy for a first experiment for this particular newcomer. Asad had just been out for a bit to get some things from the stores.

While passing by a store he happens to note his reflection in the window.

And he has blonde hair now. Short blonde hair in a very familiar hairstyle.

And that face...well, it's not like he'd ever forget that. But no, that's just not possible.

He slipped off one of his gloves and was just shocked to notice how much more pale his skin was.

His hand grows cold and he puts the glove back on, but he just can't stop staring at the reflection for now...
