she closes the distance again, grabbing what is so very like her own body by the shoulder and leaning up to quietly ask: ] What did you give me?

[Jack shivers. He hasn't been this close to her in a long, long time. And he'd just spent so much time with a vulnerable, wide-eyed version of her in a dressing-room mirror. He leans down and breathes her in and whispers back:]

Gave you a charm of mother-of-pearl what I shaped myself, lass.

[ she is so relieved to find that this is not nina that the indignation over why it's actually jack is delayed. ]

I didn't do anything with him. What are you talking about? I helped him when he first arrived and then sent him on his way.
