[OPEN TO ALL] Swimming Lessons

Who: OPEN TO ALL interested
What: Swim Lessons: Stage 2
When: during the day into early evening (well before the coming event)
Where: at the ocean
Summary: The ocean part of the promised swim lessons!
Rating: G as far as I know. Maybe PG.

The water is relatively calm today, which makes it easier for lessons. Lucky~! It feels like any beach trip might.

Ami, clothed in shorts and a shirt over her bathing suit and wearing a whistle around her neck, wades just a short distance into the water so that it laps at her bared feet. She digs her toes deeper into the muck, unseen.

She has a few extra whistles for other instructors or helpers, and she looks over the group assembled. This is the first time she's really put herself forward like this, though she's confident in her skills. Hopefully it will go well.

(ooc: action tags, prose, anything is fine; threadjack to heart's content, pair up, random gawkers welcome as well as participants ♥)

let's try this again... ;;

Well, the TARDIS picks up on that anyway. She knows the Doctor wouldn't give her a bad name, but it's difficult to account for every single culture in parallel universes. "He said it was my name. Does it mean something bad in your culture?"

major fail

Good, sort of? Well, Orangey has never been one for mincing words. Maybe she should ask her about it. If there's one thing the TARDIS hates, it's making a fool of herself and these reactions are just bad.

"Well, I suppose if it's a problem you may call me TARDIS for today."

Technically it's a classification and not a name, but it will do for now. "Yes, that's it." She really doesn't want to dwell on this any more than Ami does, so how about a nice subject change? " Now, how far has this class advanced?"

"Not like a standard class, then. Good. It wouldn't be very sensible given the conditions. And I suppose the wings don't help." Luckily- or unluckily- she has no idea how to make a human body swim so she has nothing to relearn.
