Summary: What's a summer without going on a trip to the beach at least once?
Rating: PG13+? Depends, really.

[When one enters the beach, if they're the type of people to make beelines for food as soon as they step into a party, they'll notice that there are a few tables set up with a bunch of snacks laid about, along with a giant cooler residing at the end of the table. There's a barbecue going on too, though it'll be self-serve if you're hungry.]

[Otherwise, there's a bunch of sporting equipment laying about. A Frisbee, a few volleyball nets... Whatever you'd like to be there! Don't forget, there's always swimming in the ocean, too.]

This is why I brought suntan lotion instead. [Easier to carry and she won't look ridiculous carrying something so big.]

I know, right? [She sighs dramatically as if her whole life got ruined by her wings.] This is why I'm waiting for a kind soul - a pure gentleman - who will help me.

[Pure, huh. He's pretty sure there's only one reason most guys would volunteer to do it.]

So you probably wouldn't want me to do it. After all, maybe some other guy, more available, can come along and do it.

[With a wink:] ... Nice beard, by the way.

[Aha! She likes the beard.] Thanks, it's new. [Okay you know what, he's feeling a bit better now. So seeing that no one else is coming over just yet (the male population around he is so disappointing), he at last shrugs his shoulders.]

Alright, fine. Turn around, I'll do it. [But he won't enjoy it.]

Trust me, you look really cool with it. [Referring to his beard. At his last words, though, her smile brightens. Just as planned. B)]

Thanks! I knew you were a true gentleman, Sokka. [She turns around and gathers her hair in one shoulder. Don't speak too soon, boy.]

Yeah, yeah. Well, I'm not going to let you blame me for sunburn.

[Toss your hair all you want, he's going to POKERFACE this entire thing. And maybe focus his attention on her wings the most. Two years isn't enough time to find wings attractive yet. Once he finds the lotion, he'll just start applying it in the sorts of places he knows she shouldn't be able to reach.]

[She lets out a pleased sound (which might sound like something akin to something you might hear if they're in a different setting) once the cold lotion hits her heated skin. Ino even tilts her head a bit to expose the glistening skin of her neck as if inviting Sokka's hand there.]

Yup. Pretty much.

[He gives her some serious side-eyeing when she moans, but he stays quiet on that. Her neck gets a passing glance, but he remains stoic and continues applying the lotion where she needs the help.]

[She arches her body more to his touch, finding it soothing for someone else to do this for her. Especially a bearded man oooh. In which case, Ino has a content smile on her lips as she lets him apply more lotion.]

Yeah? And what other reason might that be?

[This whole arching and posing is getting a little too much. It's distracting. And not in a good way. The sooner he gets this done, the better.]

[Yeah, she'll do more of that. Probably accompanied by a purr.] And you have nice smooth hands you want to share with people who need them.

I'm not that nice. [He is, but like hell he'll admit that. He's going to take a deep breath here, willing himself to ignore her actions. Just a little bit more to add.] And that's the lotion you're feeling. I've got blacksmith hands, you know. [This would be pretty uncomfortable otherwise.]

An equally manly hand to match that equally manly beard. [Maybe he can ignore her actions but probably it'll be more difficult to ignore both words and actions.]

[Flattery. Why does it have to be flattery. He grimaces and covers the last spot on her back. Well, besides the bit under the bikini strap.]

As much as I appreciate the compliments, I still have a fiance. [He starts to lean back and stand.] There, done.

[She giggles and turns to him to watch him stand.] Honestly, Sokka, don't you think I'm just being truthful? Why do you always think I'm taking advantage of you?

Because I'm on to you! I know a flirt when I see one. [Man, now what's he going to do with all this lotion on his hands? he stares at them, focusing his annoyance there instead.]

[She stands up and smirks, placing a hand on her bare hip.] That's a very hard accusation. I feel hurt. Here I thought being honest is actually a good thing.

[Ino fleetingly glances down at his hands and then to his face again. Really, that beard suits him.]

Well, maybe you're being a little too honest. [Sort of like his own blunt honesty. Having nothing else to do with the lotion, he just rubs it onto his arms. Whatever.]

But you've got your lotion now. So... yeah.

[She shrugs, keeping that smirk on.] Then, maybe I should just refrain from speaking the truth.

[And upon mentioning her lotion, Ino's smirk turns into a smile.] But, thanks! I owe you one.

[He's worried about how exactly she'd pay him back for it.]

I had to make sure it's real, you know. And I guess I'm right. [With a soft and teasing tone, she leans in to whisper the next words to his ear. Just because she likes trolling.]
