Summary: What's a summer without going on a trip to the beach at least once?
Rating: PG13+? Depends, really.

[When one enters the beach, if they're the type of people to make beelines for food as soon as they step into a party, they'll notice that there are a few tables set up with a bunch of snacks laid about, along with a giant cooler residing at the end of the table. There's a barbecue going on too, though it'll be self-serve if you're hungry.]

[Otherwise, there's a bunch of sporting equipment laying about. A Frisbee, a few volleyball nets... Whatever you'd like to be there! Don't forget, there's always swimming in the ocean, too.]

[Naoto unfortunately isn't any better off right now either. Being small isn't really helping her in this situation but at least she's able to help somehow. So she's currently trying to carry a few boxes without tripping and falling]

[It's really with a sense of irony all the things Ginia would be interested in occur when she's not here. Physically, yes, but not mentally.

After spending a morning at the growing memory garden, Alice was on her way back to the apartment when she noticed one of the flyers. Points for effort as far as the drawings went, but it served its purpose. It's something Ginia would liked. Might as well attend.

It's for that reason Alice is at the beach party, dressed in a t-shirt and cut-off shorts, armed with Ginia's cellphone for the purpose of taking pictures and for communication. Her lower left arm is still wrapped up in a cast, but it's getting better. The joys of magic.

Sure, she's a bitch, but Alice still cares about the dominant personality. Might as well give her some pictures to look at once she's back.]

[With Minako as organizer, there's no way Minato wouldn't find his way to the beach today; not that he has any reason to complain. It's the perfect weather for it and there's plenty to do. Although, at the moment he doesn't seem to have changed his habits much - he's stretched out on a blanket under an umbrella, eyes closed. Maybe someone needs to try burying him in sand.

A little later in the afternoon he'll actually go around and socialize - talking to anyone who looks like they need bothering, and testing out the water.]

Wearing long black shorts that go down to her knees and a dark blue T-shirt is definitely the way for this girl to go. She would have worn pants today but unfortunately it's a bit too hot for that.

But what one might notice is that she looks even more boyish than usual right now but it's totally a-okay if you mistake her for a boy, you won't hear her complain or even try to correct you.

After making sure everything is nicely set up for everyone, Naoto will put down a towel and sit under an umbrella to read. Yes, you heard it right, read. She has no desire to get in the water or do anything else (unless forced). Okay so later on she'll be walking by the water to collect pretty shells too.]

[Kouki is looking between a Frisbee and the volleyball net, considering which one to try and play first.

Later on, he can also be bothered by anyone when he's out swimming or getting some food from the barbeque or food table. Mmm, food.]

[Nagisa's been eying that frisbee too. Though for her it's more of a matter of wondering what it is. Looks kind of like a colored, unappetizing frozen pancake. Or maybe it's just a frisbee. She's never really seen one up close before. Regardless, she has no clue how to even play with it, so she's just standing there, contemplating whether or not to attempt to do so.]

[You want to know what makes you potentially the coolest person in the party? Being the dude catching waves on a surfboard and being able to teleport, board and all, to the best waves. Actually he'd probably just make real surfers frown at his antics, but he never got to abuse his powers and surf at the same time before. His conclusion? It's super cool.

He'll be out there and on the beach next to his board from time to time. Ladies, he's doing this for your benefit. Because a furry blue demon monkey thing that surfs is obviously what you should find attractive.]

[Attractive? ...Well, she does at least find him amusing. She's just sitting on a blanket for now, still feeling a little tired but not wanting to miss a chance to enjoy the ocean. Whenever Kurt surfs by, though, she's definitely giggling.]

[Enter Sokka, sitting on a towel on the beach, pondering whether he should swim or build something in the sand. He'd kind of like to do the sand thing, but he's also at odds of whether he's now Too Old for that sort of thing now. After all, he has a beard now and that means his life is so much different.

You know what, he's just going to hit up the free food instead. Swimming can come later. And he might play some volleyball too as long as he's playing with people who aren't cheating with their powers. Like Kurt up there would do.]

[You're never too old to play in the sand, Sokka. Not that Minato is doing so either, but he'd probably be up for it if it was suggested.

Right now, though, he's manning the barbecue for a bit - someone has to make sure that there's meat being cooked. The first few plates of it have already been demolished, so he's in the middle of finishing another batch.]

[ So here Tomoya is, thinking maybe it'd be a good day to go to the beach. It's summer and all and y'know, he thought it would be a relaxing break from all this unnecessary thinking he's been doing.

Sitting down on a blanket with an umbrella overhead, he lays there and relaxes a bit, watching the people go wild. Maybe later he'll go get some refreshments, and if things go well and some friends/acquaintances come to bug him, maybe he'll take a dive too, or maybe even play with sand. ...Things can also go pretty bad too.

[Grune has already been to the beach once this summer, to visit Giles on his vacation. Since then, she's discovered what people from other worlds wear to the beach at the clothing shop, and she thought she'd try it out.

So here's Grune. A tall, generously endowed woman in a green halter top bikini. Around her neck is a necklace made of seashells, made inexpertly but with care by a certain friend of hers.

She's on the lookout for friends old and new, so come talk to her! She'd love the company.]

[Beaches are awful. There's sand in her shoes and it's much too hot for her liking. Flowers can wilt in the heat you know... This is what she gets for wandering around and letting the curiosity of this beach thing get the best of her. She should just go back to her garden. All these humans having fun is also... Sickening, perhaps? It doesn't sit well with her, whatever this feeling is.

At any rate, Yuuka will be standing far, far, far off to the side, just people watching from beneath the nice shade of her parasol. Later she'll leave quite abruptly to return to her garden.]

[A beach party sounded like such a great idea. Sheena's had a whole lot on her mind these days and she needs a break.

You will catch her either floating and swimming in the waves, or kneeling halfway up the beach working on a sand castle. She's...not the best sand castler. But it's a start.]

[With the summer weather being so nice today and Nagisa having haven't been at the beach in a while, she figured coming would be fun. So you'll more than likely find her sitting on a towel, under an umbrella, playing in the sand and watching everyone run around. Her attempt at building a grand sand castle failed miserably. So now she's just building an army of dangos, which will take over Luceti with their immense cuteness. Yes she is enjoying herself.]

[Katara has actually been spending most of her free time at the beach - it helps that the teleporter is right by her house. In her almost a year and a half at Luceti, she's found that some of the more local swimwear is a lot easier than dealing with her bindings, although she's still not comfortable running around in a plain swimsuit bottom. Today's choice is a happy compromise.

She still doesn't bother with a surfboard, though. Controlling solid water underneath you - the only way to go. She loves this.

And the fact that there are more people out here today? All the better! In those rare moments where she is not actually in the water, Katara will be mingling or sitting by her large towel and drinking lemonade. She's brought plenty, so if you're thirsty...]

[The beach, the beach, the beach!!

Seto's never been to the beach before. Even back home in Japan he didn't live anywhere near it so the only thing he had were pictures in books and we all know that's not as fun as the real thing. It's just as beautiful as he imagined though.

Once he sees other people getting in the water, he's going to jump in himself and swim around for a while, enjoying the cool water with everyone. Maybe you'll spot him looking for different shells and making a sand castle too! This kid won't be taking a break for a while]

[Frey decided he might as well join the party: Summer was almost over, afterall, and even if things had been rough the last week he'd managed to mostly come to terms with it.

So while he won't be approaching many people, he will be swimming in a pair of bright red swim trunks, enjoying the cool water in this heat. Feel free to bother him at any point.]

[Since she's still worrying about Shikamaru, Ino's still not that cheerful when she attended the party. There should be warning signs all around her, really.

[Sokka is walking by, hair down and soaked, to go grab some more food. He's just in his trunks and thanks to his two years in Luceti, is pretty well built too. (In case you were wondering). He only half catches Ino's question as he passes by, giving him pause to look over and blink.]

[Mia was hoping she would feel well enough to attend this beach party. It would feel awful, to be stuck at home and not enjoying the sunlight and the water. She had managed to find something she would feel comfortable swimming in (in one-piece form), but will spend most of her time just wading, or sitting on the blanket she brought with her and laughing at others' water antics.]

Walter looked sourly over at the beach from where he was swimming in the water, his frown just slightly under the water's surface as he watched everything. No, he shouldn't be surprised that the Luceti humans would go romping around the beach. But it didn't mean he couldn't feel irrationally annoyed that they were playing around in the water.

...Maybe they'll go away if he ignores them. But good luck with that.

Eventually, he'll have to trudge up onto the beach in his full clothing, which would definitely look odd to the random passerby.]

[If Water's been spending as much time at the beach as Katara has this summer, he should at least be able to recognize this one particular human - or maybe they've never even laid eyes on each other before - after all, it's a big ocean.

[Rydia arrives at some point, since she enjoys the beach anyway. With a lot more company than usual, that's even more reason to go. She doesn't need a teleporting, though, simply...poofing in wherever. Hopefully, she doesn't knock over anyone's sand castles. Though if you really want her to, go for it.

Her attire isn't any different from usual, if you take away the skirt and long sleeves and high boots. She's barefoot, clad in that skimpy summer leotard she wears all the time anyway. Her hair is left loose, fanning out with the breeze.

At first, she'll of course largely be in the water. It's a perfect way to cool off, after all. Whenever she's tired of that, she will walk around and mingle, possibly joining a game or snagging some lemonade while she looks for a good place to sit.]

[Despite her inability to enjoy the ocean to its fullest, Nephry didn't want to miss out, today. So she found herself some stylish beachwear and joined the party, bringing along a moderate-sized cooler full of popsicles, free to anyone who might want to try one.]

[Ion isn't much for swimming either, but that didn't mean he couldn't still enjoy the beach, right? Of course, seeing as he's sitting under the shade of a beach umbrella looking a little sleepy from the heat, it's pretty clear he isn't much of a beach person.]

[Either she came with a lot of curiosity, or someone dragged her into this.

While she had somehow convinced her captor(s) to let her carry the armor -allowed only to let her keep watch on it while on the beach, in the cabin, instead of her apartment-, first thing that was considered important was getting her off the half a ton of metal, and replace it with something Daisy imagined should have been worn with more. But instead, the 6'9'' girl is wearing a red one piece that said captor(s) might have either prepared for this occassion, or might have been just been lucky enough to find that fit her... Or was an approximate.

She is crouching over a towel below an umbrella a little small to her, realizing slowly that military dress code had been given concrete shoes and was tossed to the sea.]

[Naaaap time. Relaxing at the beach sounded like an awesome idea after working in the casino last night. So with a book, beach towel, and the biggest umbrella he could find, Leon headed off to the beach to ... lay around and listen to other people have fun.
