partyin' partyin'

Who: [livejournal.com profile] luceti
What: See subject title!
When: August 14, 2011
Where: The beach!
Summary: What's a summer without going on a trip to the beach at least once?
Rating: PG13+? Depends, really.

[When one enters the beach, if they're the type of people to make beelines for food as soon as they step into a party, they'll notice that there are a few tables set up with a bunch of snacks laid about, along with a giant cooler residing at the end of the table. There's a barbecue going on too, though it'll be self-serve if you're hungry.]

[Otherwise, there's a bunch of sporting equipment laying about. A Frisbee, a few volleyball nets... Whatever you'd like to be there! Don't forget, there's always swimming in the ocean, too.]

(( OOC: Advertisements the party have been up since the start of the month, though poorly drawn by yours truly. Everyone's free to come, too! New Feather, or old. Feel free to start up your own threads~ ))

[Aw man, Ven. He was just falling asleep thinking about Edifice! Leon sits up on his beach towel, blinking at the blond boy.]

Ven? Hey, I didn't know you were out here.

There's no way I'd miss something like this!

[He grins.]

Besides, a lot of my friends are here.

[identity profile] book-of-chaos.livejournal.com 2011-08-16 07:18 am (UTC)(link)
So you came with friends. [Not surprising. Ven probably had tons of friends with his exuberance.] What's up?

[identity profile] risingwinds.livejournal.com 2011-08-17 04:22 am (UTC)(link)
Just hanging out! There's a lot of people, so I figured I'd walk around and see who I find.

[And hopefully meet some new people. Oh, Ven.]

[identity profile] book-of-chaos.livejournal.com 2011-08-17 06:27 am (UTC)(link)
See who you find. ...You make it sound like a scavenger hunt.

[identity profile] risingwinds.livejournal.com 2011-08-19 01:24 am (UTC)(link)
A scavenger hunt?

[Pfff. Nice one, Leon.]

I never thought of it that way.

[identity profile] book-of-chaos.livejournal.com 2011-08-19 06:15 am (UTC)(link)
You could even make it that way, too. "Someone who's playing volleyball right now" or "Someone who just got back from swimming."

[identity profile] risingwinds.livejournal.com 2011-08-20 03:31 am (UTC)(link)
Maybe I should give that a try! It sounds like fun.

[identity profile] book-of-chaos.livejournal.com 2011-08-21 09:16 am (UTC)(link)
It'd keep things interesting, that's for sure. [He faintly wonders what he would be considered. "Someone who was just trying to asleep"?]

[identity profile] risingwinds.livejournal.com 2011-08-22 05:11 am (UTC)(link)
Definitely! Plus, it's a good way to keep busy.

[identity profile] book-of-chaos.livejournal.com 2011-08-23 11:54 pm (UTC)(link)
There's other ways, of course. [He laughs a little, looking at where some other people are playing games or swimming.] I'm not really into sports, though.

Well, they're not for everyone.

[Ven's pretty competitive sometimes, and he does like games and sports, but different strokes and whatnot.]

I'm surprised you take these differences so well sometimes, Ven. I'm a little used to being pushed around to do physical activities.

[identity profile] risingwinds.livejournal.com 2011-08-25 05:39 am (UTC)(link)
But why would they force you to do 'em? That's pretty harsh.

[identity profile] book-of-chaos.livejournal.com 2011-08-25 08:20 am (UTC)(link)
[Because it was Haruhi's way or no way.] Forced participation is better than no participation, I guess.

[identity profile] risingwinds.livejournal.com 2011-08-25 07:59 pm (UTC)(link)
I guess so, but you shouldn't have to participate if it's not your thing.
