Summary: What's a summer without going on a trip to the beach at least once?
Rating: PG13+? Depends, really.

[When one enters the beach, if they're the type of people to make beelines for food as soon as they step into a party, they'll notice that there are a few tables set up with a bunch of snacks laid about, along with a giant cooler residing at the end of the table. There's a barbecue going on too, though it'll be self-serve if you're hungry.]

[Otherwise, there's a bunch of sporting equipment laying about. A Frisbee, a few volleyball nets... Whatever you'd like to be there! Don't forget, there's always swimming in the ocean, too.]

Because I'm something her mind created. And if I'm out, she can't be out.

There's a retort somewhere, but all Alice can do is stare.It greatly oversimplifies the situation and completely ignores the fact mental stability isn't something that should be encouraged, but it makes sense.

You think it's okay for me to be out?

Why wouldn't it be okay? [She's honestly puzzled.]

Never mind. Don't worry about it.

[Alice smiles, dropping the subject. It's not because Grune wouldn't understand (or forget any explanations), but maybe it's something not worth debating.]

So are you having fun here?

Hey, know if Giles is here?

Oh, yes, I'm having a lot of fun! But I don't know if Giles is here. I haven't seen him yet.

Glad to hear that. And a pity. I think he'd be pretty cute in a pair of swim trunks. [No shame. No shame at all.]

[Alice quickly picks up on the fact Grune doesn't get it. Oh well.] Yes, he does. Though he's a little more scowly around me.

I guess that'd be nice, but I have a feeling he'll be happier to have Ginia back.

Don't worry. I know he'll be happy to be your friend, too. You just need to spend a little more time together.

Time builds all bonds. Alice muses lightly. Maybe in time they'll get along. Alice has a hunch it'll be more a stoic toleration for Ginia's sake, but she'll take it. She knows she could stand to be nicer to the ex-watcher.

Consider it the opposite of "time heals all wounds". But you can't get to know someone if you don't spend some time with them.

Yes, that's right. The more you spend time with someone, the closer you become.

And if you spend too much time away, you drift apart or become forgotten. [She's not trying to be a little ball of pessimism, but Alice states what comes to her mind. The little things that just are is.]
