Summary: What's a summer without going on a trip to the beach at least once?
Rating: PG13+? Depends, really.

[When one enters the beach, if they're the type of people to make beelines for food as soon as they step into a party, they'll notice that there are a few tables set up with a bunch of snacks laid about, along with a giant cooler residing at the end of the table. There's a barbecue going on too, though it'll be self-serve if you're hungry.]

[Otherwise, there's a bunch of sporting equipment laying about. A Frisbee, a few volleyball nets... Whatever you'd like to be there! Don't forget, there's always swimming in the ocean, too.]

[Despite her inability to enjoy the ocean to its fullest, Nephry didn't want to miss out, today. So she found herself some stylish beachwear and joined the party, bringing along a moderate-sized cooler full of popsicles, free to anyone who might want to try one.]

[Ion isn't much for swimming either, but that didn't mean he couldn't still enjoy the beach, right? Of course, seeing as he's sitting under the shade of a beach umbrella looking a little sleepy from the heat, it's pretty clear he isn't much of a beach person.]

[He'd probably be a little cooler if he took his shirt off, but he's a little too self-conscious for that.]

[After a while in the sun, Nephry joins him under the umbrella, a smile asking silent permission first.]

[Ion just returns the smile and scoots over a bit to give her room to sit down on the towel he has laid on the sand.]

[and sit she does. It isn't as though she's done a lot of cooling off in the water.]

Are you enjoying yourself?

[He nods.] I've never really been to the beach before. Not even back home. I never realized how relaxing it was, watching and listening to the waves hit the shore.

[With a soft sigh, he leans back and brushes his hair away from his face. He probably should have tied it down today, but instead it was blowing in the breeze.] Though it is a bit warmer today than I was anticipating.

I have been to Keterburg Bay many times. ...It isn't nearly this peaceful, or this warm.

[Not saying anything about him taking off the shirt. He's the Auldrant Pope, you don't suggest such things to that kind of figure.]
