Summary: What's a summer without going on a trip to the beach at least once?
Rating: PG13+? Depends, really.

[When one enters the beach, if they're the type of people to make beelines for food as soon as they step into a party, they'll notice that there are a few tables set up with a bunch of snacks laid about, along with a giant cooler residing at the end of the table. There's a barbecue going on too, though it'll be self-serve if you're hungry.]

[Otherwise, there's a bunch of sporting equipment laying about. A Frisbee, a few volleyball nets... Whatever you'd like to be there! Don't forget, there's always swimming in the ocean, too.]

The Malnosso make that food. It just... appears there, yeah? [So yeah, that's no help. And well, baking is different than making a secret sauce anyway.] I guess you miss them already, huh?

Oh, really? [This she did not know!] Mmm... Well I'm sure there's someone who knows how to cook! I can, but I don't think I know enough to be able to help with the sauce. [Making food off of descriptions is tough.]

...] What are your parents like?

[...Waaait. She realizes that she hasn't even introduced herself yet. Asking such questions would be rather odd without that. So she'll add-] Um! By the way, my name's Nagisa.

[bamfing]

[Oh, well, they'll get to the parents in a second, then!]

[He nods and smiles. Okay, his parents...]

So... my parents? Well, they're not blue like me. [Well, his real mother is, but he's not going into that.] They adopted me as a baby.

[She's kind of unsure as to whether or not she should ask why he's blue anyway. Hrmm.]

Ohh, I see. Have you ever seen your birth parents?

[bamfing]

[She should have, because this is the harder question.]

... only my mother. [And she's a mutant terrorist who has used him and his adoptive sister on several occasions. Oh and she's dead now.]

Something about the way he said that made her feel bad for asking it in the first place.] O-oh, I see... Do you love your foster parents, at least?

[bamfing]

[SHE SHOULD FEEL BAD. Or rather...]

Of course! They're not my real parents, but they're great. I could never replace them. [How many people would take in someone like him?]

[I WAS GOING TO SAY SOMETHING HORRIBLE, BUT I'M HOLDING IT BACK... In any case, he's pretty awesome. I'd want him in my house. ...that sounds weirder than I intended.]

Then that's good! They did raise you, after all, so I'm glad that you do love them!

[Well he's happy she's invested in his relationship with his parents... maybe. He's a little unsure.]

What about your parents? What are they like?

Umm, they're both really kind and hardworking! They run a bakery, and in addition to that, my mom also teaches some kids in a cram school.

[bamfing]

Hey, that sounds cool. My father is a miller and farmer. My mother and I used to help him out with that kind of stuff.

[Small village kid, this one.]

That sounds nice! Do you all live on a farm, then?

[Somehow I thought he was from the city. 0:]

[bamfing]

That's just where I grew up. I live in New York now, at the Institute.

Ohh, I heard of New York before! That's in America, right?

Institute?

[bamfing]

[He nods at the bit about America.]

The Xavier Institute. For people like me, with powers. At least that's how it works in my word.

[The amount of people with special powers here. It's so awesome.]

Eh? What kinds of powers? It seems like a lot of people here have special abilities like that.

[Oh, you know that incredibly handsome and witty blue elf you were talking to?

He's a puff of smoke now, proceeded by a 'bamf' sound and a flash of light.]

[bamfing]

[And then he's back! Only now he's behind her, without any noticeable amount of time passing between the teleportation.]

E-eh?! W-wha--!!

[OH GOD HE JUST SPONTANEOUSLY COMBUSTED INTO SMOKE OH GOD DID HE JUST EXPLODE OR SOMETHING OH GOD WHERE IS HE OH GOD--wait what. After hearing his voice, she looks back at him. Then back to where he just was. Then back to him. Then back to where he just was. Then back to him again.]

W-wh--D-did you just... Teleport?

[bamfing]

[He will never get tired of that reaction. He has a self-satisfied smirk as he answers.]

That's right. Pretty cool, yeah?

[After calming down from being startled so badly, she eagerly nods.]

Yes! It looks like a lot of fun! [...] Does it hurt though? You just... poofed and there was smoke, so...
