Summary: What's a summer without going on a trip to the beach at least once?
Rating: PG13+? Depends, really.

[When one enters the beach, if they're the type of people to make beelines for food as soon as they step into a party, they'll notice that there are a few tables set up with a bunch of snacks laid about, along with a giant cooler residing at the end of the table. There's a barbecue going on too, though it'll be self-serve if you're hungry.]

[Otherwise, there's a bunch of sporting equipment laying about. A Frisbee, a few volleyball nets... Whatever you'd like to be there! Don't forget, there's always swimming in the ocean, too.]

I love them very, very much! But... I-I wasn't sure what else to build in the sand, so dangos were all I could think of. [Her slight embarrassment may be a bit audible.] It's silly, isn't it? [She gives a light laugh.]

I guess I don't understand the appeal of dangos. Did you grow up with them or something?

Well, yes, I've always found them to be really cute. Most people my age don't really like them anymore though. Or just most people in general... I guess they're kind of childish. Big Dango Family merchandise is kind of hard to find in my world now. But I still love them.

Ohh, I see. I guess that's not really odd. I mean, kids like these big bunnies, back home. There's stuffed toys, mascots, and drawings, and such...

Big bunnies? Those sound really cute too! [Not as cute as the Big Dango Family, of course! So far only starfish match that. And hardly.]

W-- well. [He tries to get a good estimate. There were some pretty darn big bunnies out there.] At least six feet tall? Maybe closer to eight feet tall... The domesticated ones, at least.

E-eh?! Those... those are really big! It sounds kind of scary if they're that big. Are non-domesticated ones bigger even?

Y-- yeah, they are. [They're not usually a problem, but...] When there's a lot of them around, it's not surprising for there to be mini-earthquakes.

Well, that's ... kinda where the opinions start dividing, you know? Kids just think of the big, domesticated bunnies that you can ride or you can get a domesticated toy of. Lots of adults just think of the bunnies that can be nuisances by hopping around. But there's some adults that find them cute, too.

Aww, but they're not intentionally trying to be destructive with their hopping, are they? So I don't think they'd be nuisances! ...Then again, I haven't experienced them. But still! Kids can ride on the domesticated ones though? [Sounds like kids riding ponies or something.]

Yeah, the smaller ones tend to be friendly. [...Not that he had been the typical kid; he'd been so wary about climbing on the big bunny for traveling purposes.] So they can be climbed on and ridden. ...Kinda hard on the stomach if you're not used to it, though.

I can imagine so. It sounds like fun! But it sounds kind of scary, too. I'm sure I'd be kind of iffy on riding one at first.

W-- well. [Um.] The wild ones are kinda annoying when they get aggressive, but... I've ridden on the domesticated ones.

I-- it's an experience. They can hop really high. [Back then, he'd been too busy clinging to really appreciate bunny-riding.] I'd be happy to show it to you, though. It's, uh, pink.
