Summary: What's a summer without going on a trip to the beach at least once?
Rating: PG13+? Depends, really.

[When one enters the beach, if they're the type of people to make beelines for food as soon as they step into a party, they'll notice that there are a few tables set up with a bunch of snacks laid about, along with a giant cooler residing at the end of the table. There's a barbecue going on too, though it'll be self-serve if you're hungry.]

[Otherwise, there's a bunch of sporting equipment laying about. A Frisbee, a few volleyball nets... Whatever you'd like to be there! Don't forget, there's always swimming in the ocean, too.]

[Naaaap time. Relaxing at the beach sounded like an awesome idea after working in the casino last night. So with a book, beach towel, and the biggest umbrella he could find, Leon headed off to the beach to ... lay around and listen to other people have fun.

[That... is a very large umbrella. And under it is a very familiar looking blue-haired and brown, fuzzy-eared boy. So Nagisa walks on over and peers over you. Hope you don't mind her face almost directly above yours, Leon.]

[Leon had been dozing with his head cushioned on his book, his ears flicking once in awhile when sand or a faint breeze bothers them. When he hears his name, Leon's first reaction is to yawn and stretch a little.

...Of course, he wasn't expecting something to be hovering right above him, so he looks positively startled.]

--Ah! [significant pause] ...Nagisa?

[Nagisa will forever find your ears to be adorable, Leon. She was rather enjoying watching them flick occasionally. Startling him though, that she didn't completely enjoy. She feels kind of guilty, actually. And so she apologizes.]

A-ah, I didn't mean to startle you! I-I'm sorry...!

N-- no, it's okay. I was just taking a nap. [Geez, why is she so c--? Okay, no, he did not just think that.] How are you?

O-oh, okay! I wasn't sure if you were sleeping or not, so...

I'm good! I'm kind of tired since I got up early to help Minako set up, but I met and got to talk to some people, so I'm having fun! Are you enjoying yourself?

I'm-- [Er. Well, he had just been napping and basically relaxing, so...] Yeah, I've been enjoying myself. Do you usually get to go to the beach, back home?

Umm, sometimes! I get sick often and easily, so we don't really go that much at all. I've gone a few times though, and I really enjoy it!

[Can you see the sneaky little kid behind you? Because he's staring intently at those fascinating ears.

As quietly and gently as he can, he takes both of them in between his index fingers and thumbs, pulling at them. Not too hard, just enough to see if they're fake or real. They don't seem to be coming off so they must be real!]

[...You're so lucky that Leon is asleep right now, Seto, or there's no way you would have gotten so close to those ears. Leon snorts and unconsciously bats at one of Seto's hands; he can feel that his ears are not moving as they should be.

He mumbles in his sleep.] Hey... Stop that...

[Aww does he really have to stop? They're so soft and fuzzy...like a kitty.

With a pout, he lets go of Leon's cute little ears but continues to stare at him curiously. If he has kitty ears, then that must mean he's part cat right?? So can he make him purr?? That would be the best thing ever but he's pretty sure humans don't purr...snore yes, not purr.

Oh well, it's worth a shot. So just as gently as before, he starts to pet his head, waiting for some sort of noise]

[There's a small noise of confusion from Leon at the petting, and his eyelids (and not to mention his ears) twitch in response. Unfortunately for Seto, Leon isn't quite as prone to purring as one would hope (it takes more effort), so there won't be any purring going on; just a shiver or two because that feels good.]

Geez... That tickles...

[Ah-his ears moved! That only makes him want to prod and pull at his ears again but instead he just continues petting him, keeping an eye on them to see if they move. Sadly it doesn't look like the petting will make him purr, it just makes his ears twitch...oh well, he's enjoying this anyways.

Though he does wonder for a moment if he should stop since Leon said it tickles. But tickling isn't all that bad, right? So he just keeps going, maybe a little softer than before]

[And now his bare feet twitch a little. Leon's starting to swim back into consciousness, and he mumbles incoherently as he swats sleepily at whatever's on his head.

[Enjoy the nap for a moment more, Leon, because it's about to end. A white-furred, red eyed monster is bounding across the sand towards him, attracted by the cat unsuspecting person sleeping in the shade. Hopefully he won't mind some dog slobber as a wakeup call...

The dog's 'owner' arrives a minute or so later, his pursuit hampered by the hot sand.] Koromaru! Stop that!

[...Yeah, there is definitely something to be said about waking up to the feeling of being licked--and slobbered--all over the face.]

[Those bright red eyes and white fur in front of his face sure don't do anything for his state of mind, either.]

[there's a dog, that's what. He seems especially interested in the ears. It's not long before Minato catches up, though. He grabs onto Koromaru's collar and tries to pull him away.]

Down, boy.
