What:A long overdue dinner and a gathering of friends, new and old.
When: Early evening, Wednesday, September 14th
Where: CH 7, kitchen/dining area of floor 4 and maybe 5
Summary: A month ago, Ginia promised Giles, Frederic, and Helios dinner. Now that they're all finally back, and with new friends joining them, it's time to eat!
Rating: PG, PG-13ish if people want to get cuddly.

As discussed, no posting order due to all the people involved. First thread is cooking and set-up, second is for the actual dinner. If you want to do a specific thread (like Helios blowing something up), put any pertinant info in the subject. Timeline is roughly chronological, thread jump at will, and have fun! Prose or action tags are good.

...And let's not set CH7 on fire.

"S-So..." Giles takes a shuddering breath before, hesitantly, "I can, um, come back inside, then? I'm, um, I'm sure Ginia...p-probably needs a bit more help."

"Giles." Just a stern sort of look in your general direction. "Why are you even asking that?" A huff and shake of his head.

"Yes we probably should go lend a hand, hm?" He'll just wave it off and go and pick up his tray of gogosi.

"Honestly if I didn't make so many I'd make you sit out on having one of these for acting so strange. But these doughnuts aren't going to eat themselves." Although Helios might have had one...or two back up stairs.

It's not his fault he's acting strange, bro. The Malnosso screwed with his head and it...apparently hasn't had enough time to get unscrewed. A slightly guilty start before he just takes a gogosi off of the tray. Before Helios can change his mind.

...actually eating one, after all this talking about them, does make him feel better, though.

He knows and it's one of the reasons why he's trying to get Giles to stop. Because it's not his fault for acting this way and merely another byproduct of the Malnosso toying with their lives.

Helios gives him a smile. "I hope they came out alright. I, uh, went off m-memory." Not being able to read and all. Hm still, once this death penalty is gone for good he can make as much as he wants.

"They came out wonderfully." As evidenced by the fact that he's eating one with evident sign of enjoyment. "Not that I can, um, comment very much, I suppose. H-Having never really eaten one before."
folklorist: (Yes I do agree with that)

Helios chuckles a little at that. So very true. "Well I'm glad your first impressions to them has been, well, better than most first impressions Luceti has to offer." He can't remember how many times he's derped around when meeting people for the first time.

"But I suppose for going off memory and not being able to read they did come out very good." He got off lucky this time.

"You did mention that this was your mother's recipe, yes? Perhaps, um, s-some sort of racial memory kicked in. The same for my father and my steak and kidney pie."

The only thing he ever liked about the man.

"You father liked to cook then?" He doesn't know much about Giles' parents now that he thinks about it. Then again such information is private and personal.

"I suppose seeing and watching her make them every time paid off. I do have something of a visual memory."

"Given how well you've managed without being able to read, I wouldn't have expected anything else."
