[Your later morning/early afternoon, Community 7, is broken by a loud nose from Apartment 13. Namely-]

SKEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!! MEK MEK!!

[Yes, that is the piercing cray of a four-armed spider monkey taken wildly out of his element and showing up in an apartment. Melaka's trying to get the thing under control, but quick enough, Gates escapes into the hall of Floor three and then finally the kitchen of floor three and then everything just gets awkward. Because it's an energetic, quite...rambunctious monkey. A mess will be made.

And you can bare witness to the monkey, or Mel trying to deal with it. Or perhaps be jumped by said monkey. It's pretty choose your own adventure.]

[Homura is on her way downstairs when she hears the sounds of the monkey coming from the 3rd floor. UM...

Okay yeah she's definitely going toward the noise to investigate. Probably regret it later, but she never heard any sound like that before. It isn't like it'll jump on her or anything, right...

[Said the girl as she was going to grab for the demon. But then the four-armed monkey... leaps onto the head of the girl who is coming to investigate. Mel blinks. Wow, that's awkward]

[And this is the part where her mind suddenly stops making any cohesive thought.

[--Okay don't panic. There is a monkey on your head, presumably what was making all the noise, and you need to get it off. You can't use your guns because it might kill the creature (and yourself for that matter) and time stop magic won't work because it's physically on you.

Homura doesn't really say anything after the initial rebound, but boldly moves her arms up to her head and tries to grab at the monkey herself.]

[see, the issue here is that Gates has four arms. Thus, with the legs and the bottom two arms it can keep a grip on her head and the other two arms can grab both of her wrists. there's a lot of flailing, and it might be causing Homura to topple over. But, Mel takes this moment to grab onto the monkey's waist and tug]

Gates! Gates get off the rutting girl!

[What the hell is that racket?

He's highly tempted to stay inside and hopes it go away, but Kouki still get up and leave his apartment.

So it's not on this floor, since it sounds like it's from...upstairs?]

[It is coming from upstairs. And there's the sound of a monkey being punched into the wall as she deals with Gates making a loud shriek and trying to leap towards something else in the kitchen ... a blender?]

[She said as she tried to pin the thing. Which is hard because it has two more arms than her]

[Ginia is getting ready to leave her apartment for a run when she hears screeching that's downright demonic. Fitting considering it comes from a demonic monkey, but it's still reason for concern. Her knife comes out of her sheath as she carefully opens the door to her apartment and peeks out.]

[And she peaks out to see Melaka fending off a collection of plates and bowls being thrown at her. It turns out the thing having four arms gives him a lot of throwing power. Ugh stupid monkey]

[Definitely not something you see every morning. Ginia comes out of her room, deflecting a plate with her knife as one comes spinning in her direction. She looks over at the other woman, then back on the demonic monkey, not sure if it's something that should be otherwise taken care of or brought down to a calmer state.

Either way, the kitchen is going to need a new set of plates when this is all done.]

[It totally will. and after he last deflected plate, Mel turns to the woman and sighs a bit to herself] He's mine, I got it.

[and she catches this last plate before throwing it right back, hitting Gates in the chest. The monkey doubles over from the force of the impact]

[Giles' first instinct, as he's coming down to the third floor kitchen, is that someone's being kidnapped or a fight is going on. Naturally, he goes to investigate.

Just in time for Gates to go scrambling over his head on its way onto a handy counter top. Needless to say, the former Watcher is decidedly wigged.]

What on...?!

[At this point Melaka is just glaring at the monkey because she almost calmed it down and then it acted up again. The monkey, as it is, is picking up forks in each of it's four arms]

Gates.

...Gates?!

[...he has not yet had enough tea for this.]

[Cautious step back from the little monster.]

[With freshly baked sweets in hand, Roji is just about to knock on Melaka's door to offer her a "welcome to Community Housing 7" present.

But he's greeted by a rampaging monkey instead.]

[The monkey tackles him - or well, jumps on his head, gripping it with the upper two arms as the lower two go to get some of the sweets which it starts to stuff in its mouth. Mel is sort of mortified, actually]

Or perhaps even more mortified. So mortified that he can't find words to match his emotions. He's also confused.

So he simply stares at Melaka, silently asking her what the hell is going on.]

[ Helios knows demonic screeching and it is, indeed, demonic. It's a bit...surprising to hear it come up the stairwell after a run to the store. He is going to pass by the kitchen when he sees it. Just...have a staring headmaster because he's never quite seen something like that before. ]

[Well Helios I hope you're not too dazed by the sight of it because you might want to think fast. Mel yells-]

Don't be slack, duck!

[Just in time for Gates to throw three eggs (not four, he only had three in three hands, not fully armed) at Helios]

[ Oh no he's not, thankfully. A face full of egg would have probably hurt. Either way he does manage to duck a resounding surprised 'Ah!' escaping his lips. Oh dear demonic monkey troubles. He's never encountered something like this before. ] Where is the-the world did it come from? Is it another experiment?

[ Helios definitely doesn't want to hurt it, at all. Actually he's up against the wall outside the kitchen, egg shells splattered on the wall across from the kitchen's opening. ]

[Well that doesn't sound normal. And even though she's three floors down, sound travels in open spaces, especially when there's nothing to replace it with, like a radio or a tv.

She had only just woken up to begin her morning routine and to try to find something to do, but again. Distracting noises. And it's only worse when she opens the door. A shopping day, definitely. Ugh, but what if that noise was going on still when she got back? Time to nip this in the bud.

So there's an annoyed looking ten year old with her hands on her hips stomping up the steps.]

What is all of that racket?!

[Well, to begin with, there is a blender being thrown out into the hall. And then the sound of a strong young woman taking hold of two of the four arms of a monkey who is now resisting being restrained. Thus, there are loud sounds the monkey is making.
