Who: Anyone who wants to come!
What: Autumn (Equinox) Celebration
When: Today, at 9PM to Midnight (and maybe even after)
Where: Around the Rec Center
Summary: Brigade party! There's food! There's lights! There's music! There's fireworks!
Rating: A for Abacus
There were lights! Autumn-appropriate decorations! There were tables of food (though very little of it is vegetarian friendly)! There was even a stage for music and entertainment! Still waiting was the fireworks to take place at midnight, but otherwise things were set up to more or less respectable Brigade standards. Maybe Haruhi hadn't done it herself, but it was done well enough, thanks to the efforts of being coordinated by Mikage.
The stage was left open for anyone to perform that wanted to. The karaoke machine had been dragged outside for people to sing along to, regardless of talent, or otherwise just to play music when no one was on stage. Naturally inside the Rec Center itself is a variety of pool tables, foosball, air hockey, and a TV with some video games. Just enough to keep things a little fun. If only there was a pool.

No, that couldn't be possible. Could it? The thought makes her wish Gothel was here, so that she could cling to her skirts as she once did when she was young. Her far-too-hopeful response is almost a whisper, hard to hear, probably, above the sounds of the ongoing party.]
So.....so someone cut it off?

They were killed. Not because of the hair length, but its color. [It made them such targets.]
no subject
[That is one of the worst stories she has ever heard.]
What color was it?
no subject
Like your hair. Our hair. [He shakes his head.] But I ... apologize. [His speech is stilted again.] You didn't need to hear that.

You shouldn't run into that problem here.
[And, because he needs another topic and can't think of anything else...] I'm Walter.

[Because how could anyone with that sad a story enjoy dancing?]
no subject
no subject
[Because what dancing can't cure, cookies CAN. Possibly.]

I thought someone else was providing all of the food? [...He doesn't go to a lot of parties.]
no subject
If you DON'T, that's okay, too!
no subject
What did you bake?
no subject
...Lots of eclairs, now that I think about it.
no subject
No one was supposed to know that, though.]I take it you like eclairs. ...A lot.

[HOPEFULLY...he will be able to enjoy at least one.]
