What: Battle dome date (sort of)!
When: October 7th, late evening.
Where: The battle dome
Summary: It’s Friday night. What better way to spend it than to go through a bunch of combat simulations?
Rating: Probably no more than PG.
[They had discussed doing this shortly after Kurt came back – a little get-together at the battle dome. It works for Melanie since she needs the practice, and it works as another chance to spend more time with her... what, boyfriend? She’s still not entirely sure what word she should use to describe her relationship with him, but whatever it is, she likes it.
Either way, there wasn’t much of a chance to do this earlier. It would have been way too confusing, what with that bizarre fairytale experiment, but that’s all over and done with and now is as good a time as any. So, Melanie’s outside the dome, wearing her suit and waiting to see where Kurt decides to pop up.]

Melanie sends another blast straight for Inque - the only difference is that this time instead of reassembling herself, she'll be washed away.]
I guess there's just one left, now.

We need to use his strength against him. [They need something big and heavy that they can knock on to him. Or trick him into running into. Just the walls themselves wouldn't be neough.]

They need to use his strength against him, okay, sounds simple except what can they actually use to do that?]
What if we get something big to collapse on top of him, and you just 'port us out of there before we get hit?

[And then he bounds off, jumping on Blob's head, and causing him to flail around as the mutant attempts to pry Kurt off.]

Ah-ha. Narrow hallway and a big staircase.
If they get the Blob to run into it, it should collapse... and so should the rest of that hallway, considering just how much force he would be packing.]
Kurt! [She found something!]

Once Blob is within but a few inches of them, that's when they teleport, reappearing several meters behind him. At that point, he hits the stairwell and the structure starts to fall apart.]
... okay, I think running is a good idea now.
no subject
Well... I guess that takes care of him. [Or she hopes so, at least. Because she doesn't have any other ideas at the moment.]

I think so. Guess that means we win, yeah?
no subject
That was fun.
no subject
Yeah, that wasn't so bad. We make a great team.

Either way, she's still grinning.]
I think I'll stick with the fake prison breaks for now.
no subject
In that case, we should get matching guard uniforms, yeah?
no subject
I'll have to keep that in mind for next time.

So. Do you want a trip home?
