Who: A whole bunch of people! Seriously, I'm not even sure how many.
What: Kazooie's epic hero party, mentioned here ICly and here OOCly.
When: Today, October 20th, throughout the day.
Where: At the Recreation Centre!
Summary: Kazooie decided to throw the most epic party ever for all the heroes and generally-cool-people of Luceti. Surely this can't go horribly wrong or anything, right?
Rating: Shouldn't go any higher than PG or PG-13 at the absolute highest, unless Terrible Things I Can't Account For happen.

It's the day of the party, and Kazooie is beyond excited. This is her element! And this is something she gets to be responsible for - which in her mind is the equivalent of being able to be bossy about things and in general decide how it runs!

The party is as elaborate as she can make it - with the help of a bunch of friends who probably got roped into this thing against their will, she'll have the place looking fancy and perfect for a party. And with all the delicious food out for everyone - including vegetarian stuff, hopefully, for certain individuals - and the many fun games to play and things to do, this party should prove to be fun for everyone!

(OOC: So here it is! I'm going to have a section for pre-party planning and actual party shenanigans, but seriously, feel free to tag everywhere. Threadjacking is highly encouraged, as is writing in either prose or tag-style. Remember, you don't have to be a hero to join the fun - whether someone else drags your character in, or your character's the type to snoop, or just would've noticed the goings-on - well, feel free to have 'em show up anyway!

"I think that'd be great!" Pao-lin says. "We should definitely get together sometime to cook. It'll be more fun if we do it together."

"You're pretty fun to hang out with, Pao-lin!" Kazooie says, grinning wider. A fellow hero and someone who understands that stuff is more fun when there are other people to share it with!

... She could get used to having more people like that in her life, even if they're humans.

"Wonder if there are seed recipes..."

Kazooie's comment gives Pao-lin an idea.

"We could try making sesame seed balls," she says. "For New Year's, even! They're a traditional New Year's food in my culture."

"Sesame seed balls? Sounds pretty great!" Kazooie nods excitedly. "Anything having something to do with seeds sounds good to me!

... I like poppy seeds too, 'specially on muffins."

Sadly she doesn't really have many traditional foods to share with Pao-lin. Doubting Pao-lin wants a worm sandwich.

Yeah, Pao-lin's an adventurous eater, but that might be too much even for her.

"We could try making those, too!" She taps a finger to her chin in thought. "What else is there with seeds..."

"Can't you toast some seeds on their own?" Sesame seeds, sunflower seeds... there're also peanuts and stuff like that, which Kazooie has been experimenting with. Having access to all this variety is kind of mindboggling.

"Wonder if there are other things I could try that'd be really different..."

"Ah, yeah -- we can roast sunflower seeds! Those are pretty good. Hmm...corn is technically made of seeds too, aren't they?" And now Pao-lin is craving some buttered corn.

Corn... that sounds good to Kazooie.

"I've had some before, I think! It's pretty good too, especially when it's popcorn!"

... Noticing a trend with the snack foods yet, Pao-lin?

"Okay, then, we definitely have to get together and try making this stuff some time!" Pao-lin thinks for a moment. "Maybe for one of the holidays coming up. Not Halloween, though, that's for candy. We'll cook for Thanksgiving or Christmas." She's assuming that Luceti does those holidays, considering that it follows a calendar similar to the one she's familiar with.

Pfft it's fine, Kazooie's icons are limited too

"I'll letcha know when it's a good time for me!" Kazooie announces, fluffing out her feathers.

"Thanksgiving... dunno if I've heard of that one." She only is vaguely aware of a few holidays. Time doesn't pass much in her games actively, and holidays are rarely named.

"It's a holiday from my world," Pao-lin explains. "It's where you have a dinner with friends and family to celebrate all the good things in life that you're thankful for!" Being originally from Hong Kong, Pao-lin didn't really celebrate the holiday until she came to Sternbild, but she can get behind any holiday that involves getting together for food.

So can Kazooie! Parties that involve food are the best kinds of parties - and in Kazooie's case they tend to be the only kinds.

"Sounds like a real blast! I'd love to do something like that here in Luceti. It'd be great, and we could get all the good guys together for it!"

Bad guys clearly aren't allowed. Except maybe Eggman 'cause he's different. But Kazooie will never admit that.

Pao-lin nods. "There's a lot of people from my world, or some version of it, so they'd probably all want to do something for Thanksgiving, too. We should probably ask around and see if anyone's already made plans for it..."

TRUE. I wonder what happens if you make a word out of pictures?

Kazooie considers this. Other peoples' plans are usually inferior to hers', and as such she tends to ignore them or forget that they exist - good for reminding her, Pao-lin! - but it hadn't occurred to her that they could get in the way.

"Yeah, we should probably ask around! I want as many people to come to my awesome Thanksgiving party as I can get!"

...now THERE'S a design project I should try. *muses*

In all honesty, she'll probably forget. At least she's at the New Feather Thanksgiving party to make up for it?

"No problem! I come up with ideas easy, so I bet we'll have a bunch of stuff."
