Who: A whole bunch of people! Seriously, I'm not even sure how many.
What: Kazooie's epic hero party, mentioned here ICly and here OOCly.
When: Today, October 20th, throughout the day.
Where: At the Recreation Centre!
Summary: Kazooie decided to throw the most epic party ever for all the heroes and generally-cool-people of Luceti. Surely this can't go horribly wrong or anything, right?
Rating: Shouldn't go any higher than PG or PG-13 at the absolute highest, unless Terrible Things I Can't Account For happen.

It's the day of the party, and Kazooie is beyond excited. This is her element! And this is something she gets to be responsible for - which in her mind is the equivalent of being able to be bossy about things and in general decide how it runs!

The party is as elaborate as she can make it - with the help of a bunch of friends who probably got roped into this thing against their will, she'll have the place looking fancy and perfect for a party. And with all the delicious food out for everyone - including vegetarian stuff, hopefully, for certain individuals - and the many fun games to play and things to do, this party should prove to be fun for everyone!

(OOC: So here it is! I'm going to have a section for pre-party planning and actual party shenanigans, but seriously, feel free to tag everywhere. Threadjacking is highly encouraged, as is writing in either prose or tag-style. Remember, you don't have to be a hero to join the fun - whether someone else drags your character in, or your character's the type to snoop, or just would've noticed the goings-on - well, feel free to have 'em show up anyway!

It takes Kazooie a moment to realize that Pao-lin hasn't.

"... It was only twice or so, but they were just... hanging around."

"What planet did they come from?"

She shrugs, her wings rustling softly as she does so. "No idea. They never said anything about it. It was probably cold though 'cause they seemed fine being in ice and stuff..."

... Not that Kazooie can tell, really. And she didn't really care at the time.

"They were in ice? How'd that happen?" This is definitely one of the weirder -- but definitely interesting! -- conversations Pao-lin's had in Luceti.

"Well, Alph - the leader guy of the aliens - had his babies lost in the ice and snow. Banjo 'n' I went to go look for 'em, and we found some of them trapped underneath! I dunno how they got down there, but we had to pry them out..."

And in one case, she was forced to nestle them like Eggs to warm them up... Okay, so it wasn't as bad as it sounds! She just doesn't want to be seen as sappy or anything.

The gods forbid that people think of Kazooie as sappy!

"Aww, that's so sad," says Pao-lin. "It's a good thing you rescued them, then! Otherwise they would've frozen to death..." Or suffocated from being in, y'know, a block of ice with no airholes.

How about spoiling the mood a bit?

"Well, uh, one did kinda die..." Cue awkward scratching-of-the-head with a taloned foot in a very viscerally birdlike way. "... Mumbo fixed him up, though!"

Oh. Um. That's kind of awkward.

"Well...at least he got better?" she offers.

"Yeah! So it all worked out in the end 'cause we're heroes!"

Kazooie grins, clearly not too fazed. "Mumbo really comes through with his magic when we need him!"

Pao-lin smiles. "It's good to hear that you have dependable friends. You can't do everything by yourself, after all." She sometimes has a tendency to forget this or to make exceptions in certain situations.

[talontrot]

... So does Kazooie.

"Hey, I'm tough! I could get along by myself if I could use magic..." Kazooie crosses her wings a little, though the huff is mostly theatrical. "Other than that, I could totally do everything on my own."

Except, y'know, everything Banjo has to do for her.
