Who: A whole bunch of people! Seriously, I'm not even sure how many.
What: Kazooie's epic hero party, mentioned here ICly and here OOCly.
When: Today, October 20th, throughout the day.
Where: At the Recreation Centre!
Summary: Kazooie decided to throw the most epic party ever for all the heroes and generally-cool-people of Luceti. Surely this can't go horribly wrong or anything, right?
Rating: Shouldn't go any higher than PG or PG-13 at the absolute highest, unless Terrible Things I Can't Account For happen.

It's the day of the party, and Kazooie is beyond excited. This is her element! And this is something she gets to be responsible for - which in her mind is the equivalent of being able to be bossy about things and in general decide how it runs!

The party is as elaborate as she can make it - with the help of a bunch of friends who probably got roped into this thing against their will, she'll have the place looking fancy and perfect for a party. And with all the delicious food out for everyone - including vegetarian stuff, hopefully, for certain individuals - and the many fun games to play and things to do, this party should prove to be fun for everyone!

(OOC: So here it is! I'm going to have a section for pre-party planning and actual party shenanigans, but seriously, feel free to tag everywhere. Threadjacking is highly encouraged, as is writing in either prose or tag-style. Remember, you don't have to be a hero to join the fun - whether someone else drags your character in, or your character's the type to snoop, or just would've noticed the goings-on - well, feel free to have 'em show up anyway!

"If you're lonely, then you should try to make lots of friends! And since you're a hero-type guy, I bet everybody'd wanna be friends with you! Cool heroes always get a ton of friends," Kazooie intones unhelpfully.

... Never mind that this isn't generally how it works.

"I do have a lot of friends here," he concedes. It's not quite the same, in his mind, but it definitely helps. "I was more lonely when I was in Hyrule, though - I like it here."

Kazooie can't imagine wanting to stay in Luceti forever. Too bad she can't just take all her friends home with her.

"Well... I dunno, maybe the Malnosso-guys want you to stay here with 'em anyway! Then they might be doing you a favour."

"I guess so!" he says with a brief laugh. "I just wish that other people would stay and wouldn't get sent back, too. And there were no experiments or drafts."

Pause. "...Well, some of the experiments are okay. I liked the one where we changed in to things - I got to be a fairy and got to fly."

"I liked the one where I got to be cool gods!"

Of course, it's Kazooie and she'd find that a cool one.

"Still. I guess it'd be okay if Banjo was here."

She could deal with this place better if he was around...

"Is Banjo your friend from home?" Link asks curiously - he'd be happy to stay in Luceti forever if only Navi and Saria were there with him.

She nods brightly. "Yeah, he's my sidekick! He's kinda fat and lazy, but he's loyal and he does lots of stuff for me..."

Kazooie really wishes he was here.

"Oh..." That doesn't really sound that much like a friend, although Link is definitely not saying that out loud. "Well, maybe he'll come in the next cycle."

[talontrot]

Banjo is the truest friend that Kazooie has ever known. Her description isn't flattering - her descriptions of others are never flattering - but damned if she doesn't respect him, and in some strange way, love him.

"I hope so."

She offers Link a casual smile. "Still. I got plenty of people here. So until then, I'll be fine on my own!"

He offers her a smile in return. "I hope so. There's lots of good people here!"

Like Link himself!

"Yeah, you're right," Kazooie says, nodding. "Lotsa cool people here. Even if they're pretty different...

Anyway, I probably should go see how the rest of the party's going. Have lots of fun!"

D'aww.

"Okay. It's pretty good so far - you have fun too!" With a grin, he waves her off, then turns back to the buffet.

Now, where are the cookies...
