Who: Everyone!
What: Thanksgiving + New Feather party.
When: Evening of the 20th.
Where: School cafeteria, nicely done up.
Summary: There's food. And there's also board games, are you game for some Snakes and Ladders?
Rating: Let's put this all over the board. Strange stuff can happen, man.
[Thanksgiving may not be a familiar holiday to most in Luceti, but everyone understands potluck, at least! Hopefully. Preferably.

It's all done buffet-style as usual. Thanksgiving stuff greets you first when you grab a plate and get in line at the buffet lines (food and drink provided by everyone, Thanksgiving stuff courtesy of the Welcome Centre and Ginia). Though of course, don't think that you have to stand in a line while eating! There's tables and chairs for sitting and talking and— eating, obviously. Reach out and grab a drink! If you get one that's been prepared by the Welcome Centre, it's non-alcoholic. Can't really say the same for anything else brought by others, so you may want to be careful. Y'know, just in case.

Hmm.... [She thinks about this for way too long.] No, I don't think we do, either. But maybe we should start having Thanksgiving when we go back, too.

That might be fun! It's all about food, right? [Yeah, he's not exactly clear on the actual origins of the day.]

Yes, and thinking about all the things you're thankful for with your family and friends.

[For once, Grune actually has a reasonably firm grasp on things.]

Oh - that sounds like a nice holiday. [He definitely has things he's thankful for in Luceti.]

Doesn't it? I think it's my favourite new holiday in all of Luceti.

Uh huh! Christmas is fun, too. You get presents!

Oh, yes, that's right. [She'd forgotten about that.] Presents are nice, too.

Uh huh. I still need to find things for some of them, though. But others I already know what I want to give! [Grune, feel honoured - he had no trouble whatsoever deciding on a gift for you.]

Oh, do you? [Grune...hadn't thought about presents at all. Whoops.]

Uh huh! I've already decided what to give you and Giles and Hijiri.

Really? What are you going to give us?

[Grune, the concept of a surprise....]

I can't tell you that yet! [He grins.] You'll get to see in a bit over a month, okay?

All right! And I'll make sure to think of something very nice to give you.

Thanks. [He gives her a smile, although he won't hold it against her if she forgets.] And I hope you like what I give you!

Oh, I'm sure I will! [After all, Link gave it to her.]

Good. [Rocking back on his heels a little, he glances at the drinks table - there's a hot chocolate there with his name on it.] Do you want to go get a drink? The hot chocolate is really nice.

Yes, that would be a nice idea. Hot chocolate is so good, isn't it?
