Who: Everyone!
What: Thanksgiving + New Feather party.
When: Evening of the 20th.
Where: School cafeteria, nicely done up.
Summary: There's food. And there's also board games, are you game for some Snakes and Ladders?
Rating: Let's put this all over the board. Strange stuff can happen, man.
[Thanksgiving may not be a familiar holiday to most in Luceti, but everyone understands potluck, at least! Hopefully. Preferably.

It's all done buffet-style as usual. Thanksgiving stuff greets you first when you grab a plate and get in line at the buffet lines (food and drink provided by everyone, Thanksgiving stuff courtesy of the Welcome Centre and Ginia). Though of course, don't think that you have to stand in a line while eating! There's tables and chairs for sitting and talking and— eating, obviously. Reach out and grab a drink! If you get one that's been prepared by the Welcome Centre, it's non-alcoholic. Can't really say the same for anything else brought by others, so you may want to be careful. Y'know, just in case.

"Oh, do I?"

It's not something she hears very often. She tends to be pretty memorable on her own merits. Looking like someone else is something of a new experience for her...she thinks.

"Mm. But a bit different." He looks away for a second before nonchalantly stuffing two of the fallen rolls into his mouth. Manners, he has them.

Luckily for him, Grune won't notice. One of her best friends is a shirt-impaired former bandit, after all.

"Are they in Luceti?" If they are, then Grune can become friends with them!

"Yeph." Bread crumb shower! He has the presence of mind to keep his mouth closed after that. In goes a slice of turkey, followed by cornbread, ham, and a bit of Grune's apple crumble. It may have all looked like a blur to Grune, depending on how good her eyes are.

Grune isn't at all good at tracking quick movements, and so she doesn't even try to figure out what Vegeta is eating right now. He looks like he's enjoying his meal, so that's enough to make her happy.

"Who is it?"

The question causes his expression to sour. He chews for a few minutes, wondering how to answer. He swallows.

"Her name's Bulma." And because everyone in the city back home seemed to know the damn woman by name: "Do you know her?"

"Hmm...." She thinks about that for a bit. "I don't think so. I'll have to go meet her!"

Now where does she live...?

"Mm-- wait what?!" Vegeta whirled and had to catch a turkey breast jumping from his plate. His fist clenched around it on impulse and it squished messily like a grape.

Grune watches him in slight surprise. Oh, my. He's very excitable, isn't he?

"Do you want to go visit her, too?"

"NO!" He mutters to himself darkly for a few seconds. Something about blue haired women and his sanity. "... I live with her. But I wouldn't visit her of my own will if I didn't. Why would you even want to meet with the woman?" His tone is a cross between wtf and run, save yourself while you still can!

Melodramatic Saiyan is melodramatic.

Grune is becoming more and more confused by the moment. He's very, very excitable, but she can't quite figure out why.

"Why, to become friends." Why else would she meet with her?

Don't worry, Grune. Vegeta is just as confused. "Why would you want to befriend someone you'd never even heard of before?"

"Oh, because it's nice to be friends with people. I'm sure once we get to know each other, we'll be very close," she says with complete confidence.

To Grune, strangers are just friends she hasn't met yet.

Aw, how sweet. Not that Vegeta shares the sentiment. "Keh." It figured that the first stranger he tried to steal food from would share opinions with his overly friendly idiot of an arch-enemy. "In that case-- we must be good friends by now." The mockery is clear on his face.

Clear to many, but not clear to Grune. "I'm glad you think so, too. And when we get to know each other, we'll become even closer!"
