Who: Everyone!
What: Thanksgiving + New Feather party.
When: Evening of the 20th.
Where: School cafeteria, nicely done up.
Summary: There's food. And there's also board games, are you game for some Snakes and Ladders?
Rating: Let's put this all over the board. Strange stuff can happen, man.
[Thanksgiving may not be a familiar holiday to most in Luceti, but everyone understands potluck, at least! Hopefully. Preferably.

It's all done buffet-style as usual. Thanksgiving stuff greets you first when you grab a plate and get in line at the buffet lines (food and drink provided by everyone, Thanksgiving stuff courtesy of the Welcome Centre and Ginia). Though of course, don't think that you have to stand in a line while eating! There's tables and chairs for sitting and talking and— eating, obviously. Reach out and grab a drink! If you get one that's been prepared by the Welcome Centre, it's non-alcoholic. Can't really say the same for anything else brought by others, so you may want to be careful. Y'know, just in case.

'course, there's also board games if you're interested in 'em. Just check out that corner over there!]

Moving matter around, huh? I take it you mean something more than just, say, picking up a chair and moving it elsewhere, right? Any guy off the street can do that.

And don't worry--if I see any gauntlets that fit that description, I'll grab them for you. [There's a rougish wink there--no specification as to how he was going to get them.

Items did indeed appear from the person's homeworld. Lupin himself had already attained his signature Walther P38 and his favorite jacket. Distinctive gauntlets would be much easier to find than a classic semiautomatic and a brightly colored suit jacket.]

Call me curious, but I'm really interested in seeing what you mean by 'regular alchemy'. [It was more than basic curiosity. He wanted to see the extent of what the other residents could do, so he could begin concocting a plan of action for the duration of his stay in Luceti.]

Yes. You also have to understand what the item is made of in it's entirety, before you can change it's form. So if I make a statue I have to draw from the elements I'm using and change it's shape, sometimes on a fundamental level.

Thank you Lupin. I would be most grateful. [The Gauntlets might be a bit on the heavy side though.]

That wouldn't be a problem then. Perhaps we can arrange a time for a demonstration later, as I cannot really use it in here. I would hate to ruin the evening. [Armstrong doesn't mind showing people his Alchemy skills. His forte is combat alchemy (ironically), and his secret weapon is his surprising turn of speed.]

Whoa, that sounds pretty spiffy then! I look forward to it! [He grinned at the prospect of seeing something that sounded like magic in action. He could do a little 'magic' himself, although that was comparatively tame tricks involving sleight of hand. It was nothing so special.

And the weight of the gauntlets would be no problem. He did steal the Statue of Liberty after all...using hot air balloons, no less!]

It is quite interesting.

[Armstrong grins at the cheerful thief.]

I look forward to demonstrating it to you.

And I look forward to seeing it!

[He wasn't lying. There weren't any agendas hidden behind his eyes--at least, none that would use anything Alex showed him for harm.]
