Who: Everyone!
What: Thanksgiving + New Feather party.
When: Evening of the 20th.
Where: School cafeteria, nicely done up.
Summary: There's food. And there's also board games, are you game for some Snakes and Ladders?
Rating: Let's put this all over the board. Strange stuff can happen, man.
[Thanksgiving may not be a familiar holiday to most in Luceti, but everyone understands potluck, at least! Hopefully. Preferably.

It's all done buffet-style as usual. Thanksgiving stuff greets you first when you grab a plate and get in line at the buffet lines (food and drink provided by everyone, Thanksgiving stuff courtesy of the Welcome Centre and Ginia). Though of course, don't think that you have to stand in a line while eating! There's tables and chairs for sitting and talking and— eating, obviously. Reach out and grab a drink! If you get one that's been prepared by the Welcome Centre, it's non-alcoholic. Can't really say the same for anything else brought by others, so you may want to be careful. Y'know, just in case.

Uh huh. I still need to find things for some of them, though. But others I already know what I want to give! [Grune, feel honoured - he had no trouble whatsoever deciding on a gift for you.]

Oh, do you? [Grune...hadn't thought about presents at all. Whoops.]

Uh huh! I've already decided what to give you and Giles and Hijiri.

Really? What are you going to give us?

[Grune, the concept of a surprise....]

I can't tell you that yet! [He grins.] You'll get to see in a bit over a month, okay?

All right! And I'll make sure to think of something very nice to give you.

Thanks. [He gives her a smile, although he won't hold it against her if she forgets.] And I hope you like what I give you!

Oh, I'm sure I will! [After all, Link gave it to her.]

Good. [Rocking back on his heels a little, he glances at the drinks table - there's a hot chocolate there with his name on it.] Do you want to go get a drink? The hot chocolate is really nice.

Yes, that would be a nice idea. Hot chocolate is so good, isn't it?

Uh huh! Have you ever had hot white chocolate? [Some day soon, he's going to have to go to Seventh Heaven and have one for Vivi.] It has marshmallows and everything.

[Over they go to the drinks table, doot doot doot.]

Have I? [She considers this as she toddles along behind him.] It sounds very good.

It is. Did you ever meet a little girl called Vivi Aislinn? She really liked white chocolate. [He smiles fondly, in memory.] I got to be her big brother when she was here - the Memory Garden started for her.

Hmm.... [That name sounds really familiar, although she doesn't....]

Oh! Is she Robert's friend?

Yeah, she is! [She remembered!!] She asked me to be her big brother and Robert to be her father, and when she left, we decided to make the garden for her to see when she comes back.

I'm sure she'll love it. It's such a beautiful garden, and everyone has worked so hard on it.

I hope so. The pink and yellow flowers, the really bright ones - those are for her 'specially.

Are those her favourite colours?

Uh huh - well, pink is. The yellow is 'cause of her hair, and it looks nice with the pink.

They're both very pretty colours.

Uh huh - well, I hope she likes them, when she comes back.

I'm sure she will. After all, you and Robert worked very hard on her garden.
