DRAFT LOG #2: The Battle Game!

What: Fighting bad guys!
When: Today (after 12PM) to the 19th, in the evening
Where: The Mining Facility
Summary: It's an underground mine! And the Malnosso want you to kill and capture all the bad guys! Oh, but don't let the rocks fall on you. That could hurt.
Rating: B for BLOOD. Seriously. People are going to die. People have already died. We're not going to make it out of here. We're all screwed, it's Game Over, man!

Day 1: Melaka

[Well, it didn't take Azusa long, did it? One moment, she's wandering around the base camp...and the very next, she's completely lost amidst all of the chaos. There are enemies lurking about, and she's trying to keep herself hidden...but, really, she's in need of a hero right about now. She's just going to get in the way.

She's afraid, yes, and her nerves are finally starting to show. Watching people fight each other isn't something she wants to see, and keeping her eyes closed isn't really an answer, either...she tried that already.]

Day 2: Arumat

[Azusa still hasn't made it back to the base camp, so she continues to walk. Luckily, she's managed to run into someone she knows this time! Once the area is cleared of soldiers, she's just going to approach him...it's better than just sitting around, right? And it looks like he's having difficulties with his scanning thing...]

Ah, excuse me...

Day 3 and 4: Open!!!

[She was supposed to head back to the base camp, and she was supposed to get Arumat's scanner recharged...well, neither of those things seem to be happening now! Her backpack, filled with water, snack food, and bandages isn't doing much good...mainly, because she's started wandering into small caves where absolutely nothing is happening.

It's a relief, to be sure, but now she's completely alone...if an enemy were to come out, she'd have no way to defend herself, really. She can be found anywhere remote and isolated, seated and munching on a pretzel...or she can be found en route to the next remote area to get herself lost in, clothes torn and somehow avoiding injury.]

Day 1

[And then there was a TP who was going to try to get the jump on Azusa. Melaka rectifies this situation- swinging a battle ax in a wide arc with two hands, she decapitates the TP with ease. The head of the guy lands with a thud over yonder, blood flies everywhere, and the body falls. Melaka doesn't look very phased until she sees the intended target of that TP.


...And she remembers you're supposed to scan them. Oops.]

M-Melaka! Thank goodness...!

[Shakily standing up and supporting herself on a rock, she tries very hard not to look at the mess in front of her...but it's a good thing the head isn't there. Still, someone was just chopped to bits in front of her.]

I'm sorry, I didn't even notice him coming...

[...Okay whipping some blood off the ax. And...! Okay. there we go]

What are you doing out here?

My, my...I was looking for where I left the water bottles, and before I knew it...I'm sorry, Melaka.

[Ok... ay. battle ax, you go back on that holster on her back and now she crosses her arms and shakes her head at Azusa]

Don't 'pologize to me, Azu. Didn't do a thing wrong by me.

Ah...you're right, but still...I'm just going to be in the way out here, aren't I?

Are you sure that's okay...? I mean, I'd appreciate it, but you're probably needed elsewhere...

Wh-where am I now?

[Azusa is out of breath when Ryoga finally notices her, no doubt when she starts to talk. She was terrified when someone came through that wall, and she didn't know it was an ally, obviously. She slumps against a larger rock, wiping some sweat from her forehead.]

W-what a relief! For a second there, I thought you weren't on my side...

Day 4

[Estelle is... well, she's slightly lost herself, having been separated from the people she was fighting with. Seeing Azusa sitting so casually on the battlefield, though....

Then, this is the girl who thought the ocean was a lake.]

...Um, excuse me?

A-ah...you surprised me there!

[Lost, yes...and trying not to appear as tired as she really feels. She straightens up, not recognizing Estelle aside from "around here and there."]

Can I...um...help you?

Oh, no... [...] Actually, that's what I was going to ask you.

My, my...that's very kind of you! Um...I've been trying to get back to the base camp, you see...but I don't know where I am anymore.

I was just heading that way myself, actually... We could go together, if you'd like.

Oh, my! I'd like that very much, actually, I'm just going to be a problem all the way out here.
