Summary: It's an underground mine! And the Malnosso want you to kill and capture all the bad guys! Oh, but don't let the rocks fall on you. That could hurt.
Rating: B for BLOOD. Seriously. People are going to die. People have already died. We're not going to make it out of here. We're all screwed, it's Game Over, man!

You could say that. [Her tone's still light, but she's tracking those injuries now with a more critical eye. Both new and old.] I'm guessing you Hero types have just as many, by the looks.

[LOOK OUT SHE'S UNDRESSING YOU KOTETSAN-- well, okay. She's tugging that black suit-thingy down just an extra inch or so to get a clear look at those lower scrapes. Don't worry, you're still decent. :|b]

Well, yeah, it'd be a little weird to have a job like this and not get into a lot of scrapes.

[Granted the Jake/Laser/Lunatic problems didn't much help that situation. Huh. :|]

But I don't scar easy, so that's always a plus.

A good thing, too. [Some of these look pretty damn fresh. But Nami's on a crew with a bunch of fight-prone idiots, not the least of which being Zoro. She won't be too horrified on your behalf. 8|a Just wince in sympathy.]

This is gonna sting a little. [She's not even talking about disinfectant, yet. Just...washing as much dirt out of those cuts as she can, first.] So what happened? Did you get these when the barrier came down?

[He leans forward, hands on his thighs, as he thinks about what'd happened; the stinging hardly bothered him because... well, once you get used to pain, things like this aren't any more different than getting a shot.]

Yeaaaah. I was actually still had another ten minutes to wait on my power, so it was a little tough getting out of the way of the debris. But at least I was able to kick some butt, for what it's worth.

[He pats the helmet next to him with a palm as he speaks. Despite what his suit's been through down here, it's held up remarkably well. Saitou, you're a life-saver.]

Mm, it's been really handy! I'd probably be dead by now if it wasn't for it.

...yeah. I guess we're all used to these things by now. If something can go wrong, it will. [Like... missing crewmates. She switches to the antiseptic, now.] So you learn to roll with it. I guess it'd be like that for you as well, back home.

Yeah, I guess you can say that. Everything possible went wrong back home, but... at least it all got straightened out.

[For the most part. He shrugs, smiling. His muscles tense in his back when she applies the antiseptic, but he makes no noise of discomfort.]

Of course, the moment everything got better, I found myself here. Go figure.

Yeah? I can't tell if you're one of the lucky or unlucky ones, then. A lot of people sort of arrive in the middle of some huge upheaval at home, for whatever reason. But it must be frustrating to get yanked away just when things are looking up.

Mmm, it's pretty annoying. Almost feels like we never left the trouble. It's just one big, long string of annoying problems. [Even if it hurts like a bitch, he dramatically lifts a fist.] But I won't let it knock me down just yet! Not after everything that's already happened!

[Don't go around raising fists, it tugs at your back all weird and she's working. Nami sticks a hand out and pushes his fist down again.] Good attitude, but maybe you should let me patch you up first.

Aa, right, right...

Guess I was getting a little ahead of myself there... Speaking of things to do, anything come up? Anything important, draft-wise?

Yeah. We've got some people who haven't checked in.

[He looks over his shoulder, somber.]

...Sanji-kun and Vivi went missing in a cave-in. [She trusts them to be okay. Really. But it's been two days, now. There's an element of strain to her voice as she adds:] I haven't been able to raise either of them.

He's quiet when he replies, but determined.]

I'll look for 'em, when I start back out, then.
