DRAFT LOG #2: The Battle Game!

What: Fighting bad guys!
When: Today (after 12PM) to the 19th, in the evening
Where: The Mining Facility
Summary: It's an underground mine! And the Malnosso want you to kill and capture all the bad guys! Oh, but don't let the rocks fall on you. That could hurt.
Rating: B for BLOOD. Seriously. People are going to die. People have already died. We're not going to make it out of here. We're all screwed, it's Game Over, man!

[Spinning her head around once she hears her name--]

Oh, Zack-san! Finally, Fuuko has found someone!

[She stands up as though she's going to get out of the cart whilst it's still moving, but when she almost loses her balance attempting this she quickly sits back down.]

Whoa, whoa! Stay down, okay? I'll come to you!

[Although, uh. That's easier said than done, considering that the cart is still rolling and he's just on his two feet. Picking up the pace now, he's going to try to catch up.

....

Okay this could take a minute.]

...How'd you end up like that, anyway?

There were these guys. Weird guys. Scary guys! They were getting closer and closer to Fuuko, so Fuuko thought getting into this would be a good idea!

[And it was a good idea! At first.]

Fuuko didn't expect to travel so fast, especially when Fuuko tried this lever down here! But at least Fuuko got away.

[Totally mistook it for a brake or something.]

Well, it probably was a good idea at the time.

[He just. Wishes she could stop right about now. But he seems to be gaining, so...!]

I'm guessing that lever can't act as a brake, huh?

Fuuko wishes it would!! The last time it was pressed down everything sped up all of a sudden!

[Looking down at the lever again. Nope. Not even going to touch you, lever.]

If it comes to it, Fuuko is willing to jump to safety!

You-- [...Actually, that's a pretty good idea, because at this rate they'll run into trouble long before he catches the damn thing.] If you jump out, I'll catch you!

Okay, Fuuko will jump on three! One... Two...

[THREE-- Oh no, way too scary. She attempts to jump out, but then realises throwing yourself from a moving vehicle can be pretty dangerous. Give her a moment, she needs to mentally prepare herself for this.]

[Alternatively the cart can be a complete jerk and end up running over a bump on the tracks, causing Fuuko to panic and end up falling from the cart with a yelp instead!]

[Whoaaaaa that was unexpected. Especially since he'd started to get ready to catch her on "three", and then she'd dropped back down, and then fallen anyway, and- lunge-

He grabs her in mid-air, rolling onto his side as he falls to hopefully avoid smacking her against the ground as they land. It's quite the tumble, but it's better than outright crashing...

Once they stop moving, he shifts a bit to get a look at her.]

Hey, are you okay? You're not hurt, are you?

[Everything seems to become a blur as she falls and then feels herself being caught and rolling around. It's enough to make a person dizzy...

Once everything stops moving she blinks and pats herself down. Doesn't seem like she's injured at all and other than a bit of a scare from falling she's fine.]

Fuuko doesn't seem to be hurt, no. That was way too scary. Fuuko will make sure not to set foot in one of those things ever again!

[Zack sits up, fluffing bits of stone out of his hair.]

Well, it's better to get stuck in a mine than to get caught by those soldiers, so I don't think you made a bad call or anything. It's just bad luck that you got stuck without a brake.

To be caught by those weird guys or be stuck in a fast moving cart like that... Both decisions aren't appealing in the slightest! If Fuuko had the choice then neither would be chosen.

[Just watching as the cart zips off down the tracks and disappears into another tunnel.]

Now Fuuko is lost in a tunnel far away from the place Fuuko is meant to be! This is very horrible, much too horrible!!

Don't worry about that! Stick with me, I can lead you back to the camp. [He rolls back to do a quick knee-jump to his feet, leaning down to offer out a hand in order to help her up.] And maybe you might wanna think about staying there, where it's safe!

[Taking his hand and pulling herself up to her feet in a much less dynamic manner than a knee jump.]

It wasn't that safe a few moments ago you know. There were a bunch of weird guys trying to get in... The Third Party, right? Yes, it was definitely those weird guys. The mine cart seemed like a perfect way to get to safety.

Whoa, seriously? Then the others might need help! Come on, we've gotta get back there. [He gestures for her to follow him, starting down the tunnel at a slightly speedy walk. If she follows him he'll bring it up to a jog.]

[And follow she shall, speeding up whenever Zack is ready to start jogging.]

Fuuko will follow whichever path you take, so go wherever you like to ensure we get back quickly!
