DRAFT LOG #2: The Battle Game!

What: Fighting bad guys!
When: Today (after 12PM) to the 19th, in the evening
Where: The Mining Facility
Summary: It's an underground mine! And the Malnosso want you to kill and capture all the bad guys! Oh, but don't let the rocks fall on you. That could hurt.
Rating: B for BLOOD. Seriously. People are going to die. People have already died. We're not going to make it out of here. We're all screwed, it's Game Over, man!

[It's easy for Rogue to know when there's a powers shifter in the area. The voices in her head shut up. With Kurt hanging back and Melanie at her three, Rogue peeks her head around the corner and fires with plain old fashioned earth bullets - better for accuracy.]

[and that serves a good distraction, if nothing else. the bullets echo through the whole tunnel, and distract at very least the elite long enougn foe Mel to back-step, drop her sword, and pull out her blaster. She doesn't expect it to do a lot under the circumstances, but an arc of taser-lightning energy stuff, that oughta-

Oh balls the Elite got in the way of her plan to headshot the shifter]

[Day 1]

[bamfing]

[There's no teleporting in this situation, but Kurt doesn't need powers to be a prodigious acrobat. So even without it, he comes bounding in, armed with three swords. He takes his place in front of the Elite, trying to get some blows in, but his blades get deflected rather than do damage. Either way, he's slippery enough and keeping low enough to the ground that the Elite is having difficulty trying to land a blow. It's keeping him distracted, anyway.]

[Day 1]

[One light thankful whistle later at that, Mel's banking left, getting her way around the Elite. the blaster fires again, catching the Shifter in the gut. The taser-gun thing is non-lethal and just gives him a strong electric shock and a burn, but does throw off the channeling process enough that she can feel her strength dipping back- just before he gets ready to start up. Huh. she doesn't look back to Kurt's work with the Elite and instead just takes her chances to try to get the shifter in melee and keep the pressure on]

[Rogue stands her ground and fires off shot after shot. She's aiming at the Elite, hoping if not to take him out, then to distract him enough so that Kurt can.]

[Yes, this melee is working. Good. Punch, punch- still not knocked out, wow. Gotta give these winged freaks props]

[bamfing]

[After yet another shot, Kurt rolls around the Elite and makes a go at the wings. He cuts partially into one with one sword and gets a solid slice on the leg using his tail's sword. But he ends up getting punted away, rolling away with the wind knocked out of him. Ouch, that hurt.]
