New Year's brings images of crowds, and songs, and fireworks; staying up til midnight and watching balls or bells being rung. But Luceti is a different time and place. Whether you're partying with friends or watching the sunrise, what are you doing today?

Ah yes! Though it does add a bit of thrill to the whole thing. But, hm, not everyone is quite enthused about loud noises. I-I knew one person who wouldn't have been. She, um, had sensitive ears. [ A light chuckle. ]

[Nah, it is on the ground. Miyabi doesn't fly on her own, just on birds. She hops when she's small, or hitches rides on animals when the distance is too great. She points to a small but aptly crafted house nestled under a few of the largest tree's roots, still a little nervous.]

M-My home...I live here, uhm. There. When I'm my real height. [Miyabi puts her thumb and forefinger to her lips and whistles, her tone jumping at the end. And like some kind of faithful animal, a bouncing, glowing, little mallet leaps from a snow bank and right into her arms.] I use the Lucky Mallet to grow big and small. It finally listens to me now. Uhm...y-you can wait outside if you don't want to come in. Or we could go to the tea shop instead...

[Kazooie is more than happy to see Pao-lin out and about during the festivities, grinning widely and trotting up to the greeny-blonde-haired hero the moment she gets an opportunity. Seventh Heaven is bustling today, and she's more than happy to chat everybody up, but all her pals come first!
