[oh, compliments....] Then I wish they would show appreciation by telling me a little more about what happens outside the barrier.

I wish they would tell me as well. Personally, I'd like to hear all about about their business model--I have been wondering for months where they get their funding. There must be a whole nation out there that we know nothing about.

We know they have farmlands, mines, and cities, from our missions. It's likely there's an entire infrastructure like a normal world would have.
