New Year's brings images of crowds, and songs, and fireworks; staying up til midnight and watching balls or bells being rung. But Luceti is a different time and place. Whether you're partying with friends or watching the sunrise, what are you doing today?

[Daisy looks a little surprised as she sees Grune making the tea. The Chief herself has limited experience with making it, so she watches.

When it comes to her cup, though, she offers quite a bit of sugar. With something of an embarassed look. She likes sweets.]

[Grune doesn't remotely notice the extra sugar or Daisy's embarrassed look. Once she's finished making the tea, she picks up her own cup, blows on it a little, then takes a tiny sip.]

There. That's very nice.

[Once done, Daisy picks her own cup and sits near Grune. She picks her own cup for a taste--

She blinks. She sips again.]

This tastes great.

[She looks upwards towards the window. It's hard for someone with her senses not to hear the fireworks, even inside the tea shop. But this way... it's easier. It's better.]

[Grune leans up against Daisy a little, but not too much--she doesn't want to spill her tea, after all.

At Daisy's words, she smiles.]

I'm glad you like it. Tea is very good, isn't it?

[She gasps a little when Grune leans on her. Not that she'd make Daisy lose her balance, even if the silver-haired woman is only a foot shorter than the girl she is helping. However, she had grown to appreciate company.]

Yeah... I have more of a taste for sweets. But I like it. You make it well.

Thank you. [She smiles.] Giles is a very good teacher.

Giles. [She recalls the name.] I'm going to ask him to teach me it someday.

I'm sure he'd be happy to. He's a very kind person.
