New Year's brings images of crowds, and songs, and fireworks; staying up til midnight and watching balls or bells being rung. But Luceti is a different time and place. Whether you're partying with friends or watching the sunrise, what are you doing today?

They really do, huh? Besides if they do go off over there, you'll probably be able to see them anyway, right? I mean, they go pretty high up...

Yeaaah, they go even higher than the clouds! Yotsuba should be fine here. If they start going off somewhere that we can't see them from then you should do something about it.

_{[She's initially a bit confused, but after thinking about that question for a few moments, she thinks she might get it. After all, her own dad used to tell her "Don't talk to strangers." ("Used to" being as recent as her last birthday BUT WHATEVER.) Oh geez, she really doesn't want to freak out this kid. ]}

W-Well, um...Hey! Since I've never seen you around, that means you're a stranger to me, too!

_{[Pilouette is, for once, aware of how ridiculous that must sound. Even a kid wouldn't buy into that, right? But she figures it's worth a try.]}

Back home, Yotsuba would watch them with daddy and Jumbo and Ena and Miura. We all sat and a blanket and it was really cool!

Sounds fun! I watched the fireworks with my friends back home, too. But some of the ones here are pretty different, huh?

Oh yeah, some of the ones here go like 'whoosh' and then boom! But the fireworks at home would go 'wheeeeesssh' and then KA-BOOM!! Really different!

Someone told me that some of these fireworks are made with magic!

With magic? Oooh... That makes them even more sparkly! Magic fireworks are really cool, right?

They're totally cool! It's like, every other day something amazing happens here!

Yeaaah, this place has lots of cool stuff! Like, this one time, Yotsuba met this pirate! He's named Captain Jack and he has a pony. And then Yotsuba got a sidekick called fluffy Buffy. Then Yotsuba and Otonashy had candy and it was good.

Hmm...I don't think I've met those people...But maybe I will soon! I bet they're nice, huh? There's all kinds of amazing people here~!

I even met a talking dog once...!

There are, Yotsuba wants to meet more cool people. And more pirates, and fluffy people, and, and-- [DID SHE SAY TALKING DOG?! Yotsuba knows one of those!] It's Dug, right? It has to be Dug, Dug could talk and he was a dog! Yotsuba taught him how to dance!!

Yeah! Yeah, it was Dug! So not only can he tell talk, he can dance now, too?! Omigosh. He's gotta be like, the greatest dog ever...!

He must be the bestest best dog! Most dogs are really scary, and they bark, right? But Dug was being really nice and he didn't want daddy to put him on his head, but Yotsuba said it was okay and we should dance instead. So we did!
