New Year's brings images of crowds, and songs, and fireworks; staying up til midnight and watching balls or bells being rung. But Luceti is a different time and place. Whether you're partying with friends or watching the sunrise, what are you doing today?

Sort of. [It definitely wasn't a Water Tribe thing. They may have dealt with explosives, but they would never waste something so valuable as frivolous. It simply wasn't an option.] But this isn't the Fire Nation.

Figures. Still, it's not all that different from back home. [She hadn't meant to end it on a sad note. She sniffed, and scoffed.]

Ugh. I can smell the sulfur. [That was better. Complaining always distracted from melancholy.]
