New Year's brings images of crowds, and songs, and fireworks; staying up til midnight and watching balls or bells being rung. But Luceti is a different time and place. Whether you're partying with friends or watching the sunrise, what are you doing today?

Of course it hurt, I fell all the way! [ It's more a pouty sort of annoyance rather than real anger though, and she takes her hand to stand up. ]

Doesn't look like you broke anything - or bruised anything. That would suck on New Year's.

Breaking something on New Year's is almost as bad as breaking something on Christmas! [ still a slight pout. ]

But I think I'm just fine.. nothing feels weird at all, like it's broken or anything.

I'd say it's worse, if only because New Year's tends to have better parties.

[ not that she was even involved in the party scene anymore. fate has intervened in that. ]

Really? I haven't gone to western New Year's parties before, but.. if they're anything like the parties I've had before, they must be fun! [ nod. ]

Western... Oh! You're from somewhere in Asia, right? I know there's a lot of Asians here. I'm kinda bad at assuming everyone's in with American traditions when some of the people here aren't even from Earth. Or human, but I'm the last person to be the judge of that particular quality.

Yes, sorry! I'm from Japan, I've met so many people from Japan here that I thought it was a little normal.. [ she puts a finger up to her cheek to think about it - don't worry, Usagi is queen of babbling too. ] I know about western New Year's and all, I just haven't had a big party like this before with it, I guess.
