New Year's brings images of crowds, and songs, and fireworks; staying up til midnight and watching balls or bells being rung. But Luceti is a different time and place. Whether you're partying with friends or watching the sunrise, what are you doing today?

Okay! He has a flower shop, and Yotsuba and Fuuka went once and got all these flowers from him. Then Yotsuba was flower cupid for the day!

Then Jumbo took us to Venus!! And NASA!![...] We went stargazing in a field.

[This is something Yotsuba actually knows a little about! ...Well sort of, she mostly remembers the night for the ramen and the time with friends, buuut:]

Venus is a planet, and it's up in the sky with all these constellation things, like cygnus! And NASA... Stands for something! Something something SPACE something?

On, I see. Space, huh... I can't even imagine going all the way up there. The highest I've been is to Heaven.

You went to a piece of heaven after autumn? Yotsuba just plays with acorns in the fall, and we collect lots and lots and keep them in jars! Daddy found a double acorn once... It was very important.

Okay, but you gotta promise when Yotsuba is older. [Nod nod.] Yeah, it was cool. Yotsuba found a really big acorn though, and a bigger big acorn! Acorns are nice. Don't eat them.

Acorns don't taste good and you're not meant to eat them. Peanuts are better. Or candy. Or those candies with nuts inside!

Soup is good, so it's okay, you can like that. Ice cream is creamier than soup though. Cream puffs are creamier too!

Yeah! They're creamy and they get all over your face if you smush them into your mouth and you forget to open it. [Apparently she's forgotten to open her mouth to eat at some point.] Tasty!

They're pretty cute and small too, aren't they? They taste really good with honey on them.
