Summary: It's New Year's, and the people of Luceti have a lot to reflect upon, and to look forward to. And on a more meta level, new journal names.

New Year's brings images of crowds, and songs, and fireworks; staying up til midnight and watching balls or bells being rung. But Luceti is a different time and place. Whether you're partying with friends or watching the sunrise, what are you doing today?

Starfish festival? My that sounds lovely. I'll have be sure to attend it, when it comes up. [ And with that a ball of light will form between Helios' gloved hands. He'll concentrate on few a seconds before it takes the shape of something Fuuko will be familiar with. Yep. A starfish and it'll lazily float about the air leaving little trails of light behind it. ]

But have there ever been starfish looking fireworks I wonder? [ He gives her an amused happy look watching that starfish light projection float around her and then continue around them for a few moment longer. ]

Fuuko would like it very much so if you came along Helios-san! If all of Fuuko's friends came then that would be wonderful-- [WAIT WHAT IS THAT. FLOATING MAGICAL LIGHT STARFISH AAAH.

Fuuko can barely take her eyes off of the floating starfish as it moves around in the air.]

...This has suddenly become the best New Year of Fuuko's life. Some fireworks go off in vague starfish-like shapes... But these floating magical starfish are much better than starfish shaped fireworks! [Can she touch it? she reaches out for a moment but quickly withdraws her hand, still a little unsure.]

[ Friend? Aw isn't that adorable. Helios nods with a very happy smile on his face. He can't resist a request like that after all. ] I'll be sure to do so!

[ Helios laughs watching Fuuko's excitement. ] It's alright. You can touch him if you like. [ He does so, and the starfish might sway a little in the air before going back to floating around. ] See?

Hwaaaaah~! The starfish are so cuuute! Aaahahahaaaah~

[Starfish trance achieved. Seeing and touching a magic floating starfish was clearly too much for her to handle.]

[ Oh Fuuko your excitement and over all response to them is rather endearing, rather endearing indeed. ] I'll be sure to have some more when you have your festival. I think that's a rather good idea, don't you?

[A good idea? That's more than a good idea, it's the best idea ever. Clearly there is but one proper response to this.]

Haaaaaaah~! Eheeeeeeeeeh~! Starfish festivaaaal~!

[More starfish trance. She'll snap out of it in a moment or so.]

[ Helios can't quite contain his own amusement at Fuuko's enthusiasm. He laughs a little watching the starfish float about in the air like living creatures.

Well at least his idea was well met! He'll definitely have to do this now. ]

[And then, poof, no more starfish trance!]

Fuuko disappeared for a moment there, but rest assured Helios-san, Fuuko thinks the idea of having magical floating light starfish at the starfish festival is a wonderful idea!!

[Seriously, had she known something like this was possible she would have skipped fireworks altogether and gotten right to the magic starfish.]
