Who: Everyone! New Feathers especially.
What: New Feather welcome party!
When: Thursday, 5 pm.
Where: Battle Dome
Summary: IT'S A SUMMER PARTY
Rating: Worksafe, I reckon!
It's cold out there today, isn't it? Sure, it's not snowing but once you get into the Battle Dome, it'll be comfortably warmer. Warmer, not warm. Follow the tiny paper arrows and you'll probably find yourself in, well...summer!

It certainly looks convincing enough (a pool, a volleyball court, deck chairs, everything that you'd think you'd find at a pool party) and feels convincing enough (take off that coat! Aren't you hot?) so why not not step in? The barbecue's sizzling and there's some nice cold drinks at the cooler.

C'mon in, the water's awesome!

"She's had a romance with a turtle at some point while here, before I dropped in. Nothing I do will top that!" His expression is lazy and careless--he and Fujiko have danced this dance many times before, and will do so many more times.

Like Jigen, he also felt infinitely better with his buddies in Luceti. He didn't know what he'd do otherwise, but he'd probably be a lot more chaotic and less productive. Their presence gave him a stronger reason than anything that could be provided in their new (temporary) residence. He needed that.

He takes a drag and thoughtfully exhales a plume of smoke. "Thanks."

Another chuckle escaped him. No matter how much Jigen wished it, that ridiculous romance of Lupin and Fujiko would never die. And as much as Jigen disapproved, he'd never say anything too ill in front of his closest friend. Lupin knew how he felt anyway, it's not like Jigen needed to remind him. That doesn't stop the quips though! Those just make him feel good.

It wasn't too often that Jigen found himself in a moment like this with Lupin. Similar moments were mostly shared with Goemon, leaving the crazy rough-housing moments with Lupin. They were serious people though--no matter how childish they acted. Jigen's bond with Lupin was important. He'd hate anything to happen to it.

"Yeah."
