Let's get ready to rumble, boys and girls! A few quick notes:

Double check the fight roster--I moved some things around, namely matching up Firo with Homura since their respective opponents weren't able to participate. Let me know if something is amiss!

Characters who are fighting will be told their opponent's name upon arrival, and fights will proceed in the order they appear on the roster up there. Let me know if you need to be moved around for whatever reason!

Tony and Shikamaru will be policing the fights for any funny business, but fights will end when one of the participants forfeits or gets knocked out cold. So your character can get bloodied, bludgeoned, and broken and keep going if they wish! Remember, there's no magic since this is in the tunnels, and there are no weapons allowed in the fights. Just your fists, elbows, et cetera.

And should they have some owwies that need attention, Adele, Katara, Luca and Ange will be on hand to provide medical assistance. What troopers.

Spectators can interact however and whenever they want, so feel free to start a new thread for your character who is watching!

[Sleeping on the couch (he meant to get his shirt in the washer, but oh well), Shikamaru heard him come in. Ninja skills and all. He was too tired/lazy to get up or anything though, so he's out in the living room until well into the afternoon the next day.

He'll give himself a few days to get his sleeping schedule back on track. He needs some time off from training and such until his ribs - ow, speak of the devil. sat up too fast - recover, since he asked Katara not to heal them up a hundred percent.

Whatever the time is, Shikamaru's feeling more up to the breakfast when he eventually gets off the couch. He brings some cereal and a milk carton over from the kitchen and sets up in camp in the living room again, kicking back until whenever Masaomi starts getting around.]

[Masaomi's sleep doesn't last that long - after all, they went to bed like six AM on that day, he went to bed, got up at about 10PM of that same day. A bit lost for what to do he just sort of went to read something he had in his room book wise, went back to sleep, got back up in the morning...

Man this is going to take a while to normalize. But in either case, yes, there might be a running into each other at some point here]

[One would assume he has to leave his room at some point, anyways.]

[So far so good. Shikamaru grins and turns back to the journal he was reading earlier.]

Heh. That's good. [Grinning, he absently grabs the box of cereal he brought in before to refill his bowl.] Figured they wouldn't let you walk outta there without fixing up your head, but I was starting to wonder.

[It was one of his few good hits - may as well take some pride in it. Masaomi has a lot more he can brag about.]

[Seriously. He laughs at that, which is welcome because his feelings all are full of fuck right now]

[Once the bowl is full, he holds the box out - want some?]

[Shikamaru goes back to what he's reading for this, pen in hand scribbling notes. Whether it's noticeable or not, it might be worth noting that he's doing everything left-handed at the moment. Occasionally he puts the book down over one knee to eat his cereal, when he remembers it's there. At the rate he's going, it'll probably go soggy before he finishes.

He wants to congratulate Masaomi on his win later, but he doesn't want to preempt anything besides to show he's not upset about the loss on his half, as he already did.]

[Poured, he absently is going to take a seat next to Shikamaru. He keeps his emotions pretty tight to the vest, but... well, he's going to try to get a look at what shikamaru is making notes on. Over the shoulder glance and all]

[It'll look like several attempts to hack a filter, each unsuccessful one scribbled out one after the other. The journal itself is open to this entry, in particular the second and final conversation at the bottom. It went up yesterday while he was out before their fight, though he ended up running into Sasuke anyways. Didn't get to the journal portion until now, though.]

It's unlikely I'll crack it at all.

It happens. [One attempt right after the other. Right now, he's mostly testing how many he can get in before the time limit is up.] He knows his filters...

[It's related to their fight, actually. Tangentially.

Shikamaru continues like this until the time limit is reached, and the filter box disappears. He makes a thoughtful noise before tossing the journal to his side, not liking the implications of that though it confirms his suspicions.]

And an annoying one. [His bowl of cereal gets a mild look of disgust before he starts in on it anyways, again left-handed.]
