Late thief is late--I'll tage around when I clear my backlogs
How much a giant platter of simplistically made but very cheesy and spicy nachos counts as actual food can be left up to the gourmands to decide.
The turn out is only a little surprising, and it's pleasant to see faces that he hasn't seen in a while or hasn't actually met in person yet. There were some new faces too, which ws always nice.]

[Have a Jedi, taking your platter and putting it somewhere so you can find a seat]

What order are we going in, anyway? Because they were originally aired...not entirely in consecutive order.

I see you have blankets and stuff. Thats good, I don't know how much we'll have and to be honest, the weather looks like its going to take a turn for the worse.
...I almost posted 'winter is coming' >.>
I actually brought the blankets and stuff because, with how long this marathon could take? We're gonna be here all night, with breaks for food and hanging out included.]
Oh you...

Lupin, meet Loopy Dellie
Wait. There was- well it was impersonal and he's on medication so it probably wasn't the best idea, but. Maybe for later? Mixed signals, she is giving them. Over to Lupin Adele wanders, hesitates, argues with herself, resolves not to talk to him, and then wanders back over. When she finally makes up the nerve she's got a bottle tucked under one arm and a bandaged hand extended to help him with the blankets and pillows.]
I'm sorry- [Not what she'd meant to say. But. too late to take it back now.] About yesterday morning.
Hooo boy!
He stares at her, eyebrows raised in his confusion as he instinctually hands over the bedclothes.]
Why are you apologizing? [There was nothing to apologize for (except for proving to Lupin that she was indeed too fragile to be trusted for a while), and any damage was avoided. He'd even been a perfect gentleman, and was taking her words (though possibly faulty) into consideration with his plans.]
Sit down--what's up with your hand?

My wha- oh. That. Um. Er. [She sits, sets the bottle on her other side so Lupin wouldn't see the label, and blinks down at her bandaged hand. Fruit. Knife. Right. She didn't have that with her today and she should probably answer.] Ben and I- we had one of those. Fruit. The star shaped ones that tasted a little like peaches. I don't even like peach that much, now that I think on it. They're too sweet- [Tangent, get back on topic.] Um. I was. Slicing it, and cut my palm. Like an idiot. Because I am. An idiot, that is.

[Almost ruined his plans too before he could get anywhere, but he made a few valuable allies and a friend because of it. He looks curiously at the bottle Adele is trying to hide as he sits down next to her. fighting the temptation to just reach over and grab it so he could see what it was.]
If it bugs you, don't think then. Don't talk about it, but do something. [He's not even going to comment on questionable trustworthiness a this point--he was a gentleman, but also a thief. Trust, while welcome, wasn' always expected.
...even in circumstances like these.]

I came across this while helping Ginia stock Cloud Nine and thought you might enjoy it. After you are finished with your medication. Or. Whenever. [An honest Lupin? She couldn't imagine him being forced to live like that for a day, let alone a week. She shudders, faintly, in sympathy.]
I. I am trying to. It's...slow. But. It is working. I think? I hope- which is something I never thought I would do again but. [Another shrug.]

[Lupin accepts the cognac, studying its label as he hefts the weight of it in his hands. Cracking it open for a try was tempting, but that would ruin its shelf life. Drinking on meds was no fear for him, especially since he was on over-the-counter strength doses of a common anti-inflammatory.]
This looks like a really nice brew, which is a little surprising around here. I've found decent whiskey, bourbon, and rum, but I haven't looked too hard at the wines. Since I can't find my Gitanes, I didn't think I'd find anything too interesting.
I'll save it for a special ocassion. Thanks.

"Glad you could make it. How is everything?"
[Everything, in this case, is not code for "Your recent feelings of rage and frustration which you were having issues with." Nope. Not at all. He'll just be helping you find a free table space for your cheesy wedges of fried starch now.]

Fine, of course. I'm making things go in my own way. [Which means that he's been haphazardly training with Captain Smoker in the barracks and sleeping, when he's not journal stalking or making nachos.]
How's everything on your end?

"Glad to hear it. I'm doing well. Better than I was before, actually, to both my surprise and relief."

[compared to adele, that is. The man who underestimated Lupin usually ended up dead--Obi-Wan is a good man for avoiding that.]

[There's a thoughtful beat as he finds a sofa to drop the blankets and pillows on for use later. He flops down onto the same sofa moments later.]
At least you're getting part of it fixed up. That's good.
