Brrr, it's freezing!

What: Freezing rain!

Summary: The weather takes a turn for the worse as freezing rain comes down across the village. Don't slip and fall!
Rating: F for freezing

Rain begins falling early morning on the 22nd. By 9 AM, there's a good layer of ice as it continues to rain on and off throughout the next two days, sometimes drizzling, sometimes coming down hard for a few minutes. By the evening of the 23rd, it stops raining. Ice buildup is between one and two inches (2.54 cm to 5.08 cm), enough to put some strain on trees, break some branches, and even knock out electricity in some areas despite the lack of any visible powerlines.

((Have at it! Also if you want to use this thread for any post-storm clean up - melting ice, clearing away fallen branches, patching things up - go for it!))

Thanks. [He grins up at Zelda. She's still so nice, even in past times. He can see where his Zelda gets it from. He walks in, looking around curiously while he lets the hot chocolate cool a little. He hasn't seen the inside of any of the houses before] Is this one of the bigger houses? [It certainly seems pretty big to him]

I think that it might be, yes. There are six bedrooms. The downstairs bathroom is right this way if you wanted to take a bath to warm up.

[She gestures down the hall. He's young and adorable, but not quite young enough for her to follow him in there and wash his hair for him.]

I don't think I've ever seen a house this big before... [The castle doesn't count.

Bath is tempting, and he does probably need to let his tunic dry out...face-planting into the wet ground isn't very good for staying warm] I might do that in a bit then. [He smiles, happy here. He's really missed his Zelda, so it's nice talking to this one]
